Not this week. It was his best showing for years with him going after Heyman, attacking Kurt, reading two different magazines backstage and line of the night saying to Heyman why would I watch the show LOL We feel ya Brock.

Quote Brock Lesnar is backstage reading when Heyman runs in his locker room. Heyman asks if Lesnar heard what Reigns said, and Lesnar says no because he doesn't watch the show. Heyman says Lesnar needs to hear what Reigns said, and hands him his phone to watch it on, but Lesnar just throws the phone away.

Kurt Angle runs into Paul Heyman backstage, and Kurt reminds Heyman that Lesnar is under contractual obligation to appear. Heyman says Lesnar fulfilled the contract by walking into the arena. Heyman tells Kurt to go talk to him himself. Kurt threatens Heyman that if he doesn't get Lesnar in the ring tonight, Kurt will fire Paul Heyman, since he controls Heyman's contract. Heyman walks off towards Brock's dressing room.

We go backstage where Paul Heyman is giving a pep talk to Brock Lesnar. Heyman tries to convince Lesnar to go out in front of the crowd, saying he'll make more money off t-shirt sales and better promote himself. Lesnar says Heyman is getting under his skin right now, and he doesn't give a crap about the WWE universe. Lesnar says he'd rather be at home on his couch. Lesnar orders to go get him a medium-well steak with potatoes and broccoli, and Heyman walks off.

Brock treating Heyman like a waiter was hillarious. Personally I prefer chips and onion rings with a steak, instead of tatis and broccoli LOL

It was brilliantly heelish booking for him to technically be on Raw even though Kurt was wanting him in the ring.

The booking was excellent and Brock was superb, as Admin said it was his best showing in years on Raw.

Brock showed his comical side reading magazines while showing complete disinterest towards the show he is the champion of and then ordering Heyman to get him a steak.
I favour chips and onion rings too although only if they’re proper chips none of this oven cooked rubbish

Brock was incredibly heelish showing total distain for the fans the other talent even Heyman and the business in general, as I said in the other thread I think this reflects Brocks true life personality although obviously the volume was turned right up here, Lesnar is all about the money and doesn’t have much time for people but he must have a little passion for what he does or he wouldn’t do it.

Of course this is all designed to try and get a more positive reaction for Reigns and on this occasion I think they succeeded as fans are now dying to see someone take the title from the lazy selfish uninterested champion even if it has to be Roman.

However Brock will get mega heat if he defeats Roman and heads to UFC as Universal champion, many fans would hate that but I can see the logic in that booking strategy.

Not sure attacking Heyman makes you more heel, but it added to his persona of only caring about himself and not the fans, E as a company or even Heyman who he said isn't his friend and just works for him.

The sales of the two magazines he was reading backstage have probably gone up. I have seen plenty of good photoshops of the magazines being something else he's reading.

Attacking his boss with an F5 was just the full stop at the end of an excellent evening.

Did a good job of being the asshole bully heel with everyone tonight including with Paul Heyman.

I would've liked to have seen a confrontation between Brock and Roman so we at least have a retaliation and on top of that we should've had Braun come out to tease cashing in the money in the bank contract just to remind Brock he's got 2 people in wrestling to worry about and not just Daniel Cormier over in the UFC (for kayfabe purposes)

No I disagree keep them apart and save the confrontation until Summerslam or perhaps have something on the go home Raw episode before Summerslam but even then I would maybe have Lesnar again abuse his ‘political power’ to keep Roman away from him and then have Brock maybe beat up someone Reigns likes or respects in the ring while Roman is restrained by security having to watch on.

Keeping the two talents apart with no physicality until the match makes for more of a big fight feel and builds fan interest and in this case with many fans still very negative about the match even happening WWE need to do all they can to get this match over, so far they are doing a good job.

What if they set Brock on a Ref or someone? Someone Roman respects at least? (I'd say Triple H but I'd rather we didn't kill him...)

Why can't Roman reigns ever get some kind of defence up before their match all the confrontations he gets beaten down by Brock the symphaphy card isn't gonna work here he needs to be able to put up a fight have Brock act a little worried about his title match right now he's just too overconfident and it's the same stuff all the time try something different.

My missus who pretty much hates wrestling and is in no way a fan commented on Brock Lesnar recently.....

I was watching the Raw before Summerslam where he beat down Roman Reigns and she said that watching Lesnar he comes across like he really genuinely hates everyone and that his fight style looks really brutal and realistic, but it was more how she said about you can see the hatred and believe he wants to hurt people, it makes you not like him.

I explained that he’s doing his job very well if she thinks that, especially as she’s not even a wrestling fan. Lesnar has been a revelation in this heel role as the guy who only cares about himself and money and doesn’t even want to show up.

Quote As noted before, Brock Lesnar is done with WWE for the time being with his contract expiring in a few days and WWE writing him out of storylines when Kurt Angle refused to grant him a rematch for the Universal title.

-- The reason he was pulled off of Raw - even though he was previously advertised as being there - is because no one on the creative team could think of an idea for him that would make sense. One idea was for Braun Strowman to beat him in a match but Lesnar only had the one appearance left on his contract and technically no matches left to fulfil. The other idea was that he would go crazy and get suspended but that didn't seem to serve WWE any good purpose if he was leaving anyway.

Creative couldn't think of something that made sense for him to appear, but it didn't make sense why he wasn't there.

Everyone has got their rematch really quickly, but all of a sudden the rule is different Confused

But because his contract is just about up, it's not like he's going to turn up on Raw and cause havok for that decision, so his TV persona looks weaker for accepting it without seemingly doing anything about it.

He could have shown up with Heyman to demand his rematch and then Strowman could have come out and attacked him as revenge for the previous night. This would have been a rub for Strowman and would effectively write Brock out of all storylines for the foreseeable future.

Lesnar I think will return down the line but that could be a year or more away as his focus for now is UFC.
