I'm a huge Lesnar fan but I fully understand why some fans and other people within the wrestling business get extremely frustrated with the way he is booked and treated.

Yes just coming out and growling and shouting Lesnar's name as much and as loud as he can is extremely tedious now. At least if he had something interesting to say that would help, and maybe Lesnar should be encouraged to actually do more in the ring in those short appearances.
He doesnt do a good promo I know that, but he sure as hell isnt earning any of those over inflated wages hes getting right now.

I personally love Heyman and think he's great. He does sound like a broken record, I'll give you guys that but look at how limited they are on TV.

Heyman is a cup of Bovril, you either loathe him or detest him Tongue

Remember the Invasion angle in '01 when he was part of team Ecw, and he did a so called shoot on Vince and how hes been bad for the wrestling business (or words to that effect).
I seem to remember it was near the knuckle but most fans said every word of it was true!

Wow there IS at least one fan in existence that dislikes Paul Heyman. I didn't know such a person existed.

I mean, I was never some kind of fanboy for ECW back in the day, and I never thought Heyman's Smackdown was better than Raw or anything like that. I always thought I was the most apathetic person towards Heyman, but even I recognize Heyman as just about the most effective booker not named Vince McMahon.

These promos for Lesnar may be old, but Lesnar entire act is old IMO. Heyman is basically the only upside to him as far as I'm concerned.

Heyman is a great promo guy, one of the best, it's just his whole stich with Lesnar has got very old and repetitive. I preferred his partnership with CM Punk as at least Punk was an excellent promo in his own right and they could bounce off each other.

Personally I think Heyman needs a new charge, they experimented with a few new guys but neither Axel or Ryback were good fits. I really wish WWE could resign Bobby Lashley and pair him with Heyman as they also have a history together and it would make sense, like Lesnar Lashley is a great athlete with a intimidating look but doesn't have the best verbal skills. That said though I remember some pretty decent promo work from Brock in the past and I'm not sure why he insists on staying completely silent these days.

Heyman and Asuka would be an excellent pairing.

So the new Great Balls of Fire PPV in July is reported to be the first time Lesnar will defend the Universal title, this will mark more than 90 days since Brock won the belt so I hope WWE have a explanation prepared as to why Lesnar is apparently exempt from the normal 30 day defence rule, they probably won't though. Like Brocks last reign it's dumb and senseless booking, why couldn't they have just delayed Brocks title win until a time when it suited for him to work consistently until he dropped the belt? This taking the title hostage is insulting.

Extreme Rules in June is the next Raw PPV so I hope the rumours are not true and we see Lesnar defend there. It seems Finn Balor may be his first challenger.

Things are desperate at the moment with Raw ratings, so they have been left with no choice but to bring him back earlier than he normally is after his post Mania annual rest.

I hope he looks in better shape. His muscle these days isn't anywhere near as toned as it was say 2-3 years ago, it's as if he's got lazy.

He still doesn't need to be on screen every week because his routine is tired looking enough as it's predictable and you know what's coming due to no variety.

News just broke that Brock has been added to two more SmackDown brand live events.

August 12th in Tampa and his opponent that night is expected to be Sami Zayn.

September 13th here in Hawaii and his opponent that night is expected to be AJ Styles.

Honestly, I am excited just by the sheer thought of Styles/Lesnar, and I know it will play a big part in ticket sales which start on the 15th of July. That along with Cena due to be on the card.

Styles vs Lesnar should be saved for a major show, but I guess as it's untelevised this time it would serve as something of a dry run for a future match. Zayn is fine as that's just a glorified squash for Brock, realistically I don't ever see Sami getting to a level in WWE where he could be seen as being a real threat to Lesnar.
