What JR says goes against the arrogant prick persona he's made out to be in the press. Then again maybe he is to most people and JR is just one of the few people Brock actually likes and respects enough to treat properly. Brock looked in his best E shape yet. Clearly the "farming" he does is keeping him in good nick. |

WWE will almost certainly keep Paul Heyman signed for the duration of Lesnars contract, Heyman is a heat-magnet and a promo-expert, so he's a vital ingredient in Brock's heel act. Brock will likely insist that his good friend and business partner is kept around anyway. As for Brock being re-signed after his initial one year deal, I hope they do keep him on but I think they seriously need to look at the terms of his contract, Lesnar is being paid a fortune to make very few appearances and by the time his deal expires next year he may have only worked three matches in total, that's around $1 million per match, more according to some reports. Any new deal should see him work around double the appearances he has put in this year, he has more value as a special attraction only wrestler, but it's been frustrating this year how long he's been absent for, I would like to see him wrestle at least half a dozen or more matches if he signs again and appear on Raw alot more. The only job in the world where you get paid such awesome money for so little work AND get to physically attack your pensioner boss as part of a storyline. I reckon Brock returned to attack Vince because of his stupidity at not being able to tell the difference between Paul Heyman and an imposter impersonating him. I see Brock turning face at some point. He's got the storyline ready made that he's annoyed Heyman is with Punk when they are supposed to be best friends. |

i hope he doesn't, his face run a few years back was terrible, mostly because he then had no Heyman to talk for him.
Brock needs to be an ass kicker. while he doesn't need to be a full heel for that, and could get away with a tweener, as long as he still has Heyman in his corner to do the vast majority of the talking. basically, he shouldn't talk that much...

Yeah Brock works best as a heel with Heyman as his mouth-piece, Brock can do a few short lines on the mic effectively but he's not comfortable doing long scripted promos, which is why he's best standing in the background flexing and looking menacing while Heyman does the talking.
I wouldn't be against Lesnar turning tweener for a short-term run so he could feud with CM Punk and maybe some other top heels, but on the whole I think he should mostly stay as a heel. It will be interesting to see how they excuse Brock from tv for long periods this time around, surely they can't keep saying he's quit or been fired then bring him back again a few months later. |

I agree with pretty much everything you said. As for this: I think they should just call him out on it. Saying he's a lazy ass, money grubbing, no-talent bastard that just wants to beat people up and get paid to do it. It's so close to the actual truth that people will buy it hook line and sinker, and Lesnar is set to do whatever the hell he wants for whatever reason he wants and then come in and give a great match and people can just say he's playing a character. Or hate him for it, but at least this way he's got a good excuse too. |

isn't that basically what HHH said in the promos building up to Summer Slam though?

You know what? Maybe he did. Anytime HHH is on TV I kinda tune out. He's just one of those guys I've never liked. Lesnar's never really been high on that list for me either, but so long as Lesnar is here to put other people over, I think he'll be a great addition. Lesnar vs Ryback just sounds like a great passing of the torch kind of match to me, and I'd love to see that at mania.

We know he's back because of Vickie but not why he's taken out Vince and Miz. When it is finally explained I hope Brock explains his own actions and not Heyman for him. Be interesting to see how he's used for the Elimination Chamber PPV. |

I can see him explaining his reasons on Raw this week as the Elimination Chamber PPV is this up coming Sunday so they are either going to do something with, as in put him a match, which they really need to prepare quickly or, and this is my prediction, he'll just cut a promo on the PPV itself a say why he did it and Triple H will return to get revenge on Brock leading to their eventual encounter at Mania. I'll be disappointed though, because once again, these types of scenarios should be saved for Raw's not PPV's! |
