It was an hard hitting match, but still far too short for the magnitude of the occasion.

I'm surprised Bill took so many suplexes, so that at least was a good thing.

The entrance by Goldberg was as long as all his in ring action since his return.

I would have liked to have seen it go another 2-3 minutes maybe but as I said in another thread the match was gripping and exciting from start to finish, it was a series of hard hitting big spots and I would rather see a match like that with a time frame of 6-8 minutes than a match that runs 15-20 minutes that is drawn out with boring rest holds and overselling.

If Goldberg is happy to consistently work matches of around this length I hope he returns to the ring for a few more big marquee matches at major events. As for Lesnar I think he is set for a decent run as champion but I just hope he falls within the '30 day rule' with his defences.

Well, on the bright side in a best of 3 series Goldberg is still ahead. That makes for fun trolling the Lesnar fanboys on Facebook and YouTube. As much as I wanted to see wwe surprise me again with yet another victory for Goldberg at Mania, everyone knew the outcome of this match. Just seeing Goldberg get in any offense at all was a surprise, really.

As good as it was seeing Lesnar get whacked by Goldberg, it made it harder in the long run knowing that Lesnar was always going to beat him at Mania and get the title again.
