How do we not have a thread about this from last time they met.....Must have all gone in the Wrestlemania thread.

Only two chances for them to face eachother in the ring before Survivor Series, so it's looking like management want to keep them apart as much as possible.

Heyman sold the Sphere really well for his age and non wrestler status because Bill protected him well with a lack of real force and holding him to the floor so he landed properly.

I hope next week both are on Raw because if we have to wait until the last Raw before Survivor Series it may drag.

I love seeing Bill Goldberg back in the WWE, absolutely love it.

But god damn it, I want to see Goldberg vs Cena.

Lesnar hasn't had a good match since he's come back, and has never in his entire career been able to carry a match, and now he has to carry Bill Goldberg to a good showing? Sorry, not going to happen. It's going to flop.

What a waste.

seeing goldberg back bring back more fans and more viewers. that would be a good match to see between goldberg and john cena it could help out smackdown. would defiantly like to see kurt angle come back to wwe. like to see kurt angle vs brock lesner those too had very good matches. kurt angle vs undertaker at wrestlemaina would be match in history for wrestlemaina those too belong in the hall of fame.

Quote From Jim Ross Website

I was asked the question in our recent Q&A's here but I would not have Goldberg and Lesnar "touch' until Sunday November 20 in Toronto at Survivor Series. Yes, I do think that the match will likely exceed the expectations of some fans who feel that the ring rust of Goldberg will be impossible to overcome.

World class athletes have a way of rising to the occasion and that's what I'm feeling about this bout that looks like it will be the main event of the evening. I see a straight forward, 15 minutes bell to bell Slobber Knocker that lessens the focus on ring rust.

The talking part of the storyline has been done enough now, so there should be so physicality before they meet.

Book them both to face of and chat in a weeks time as you can always keep a brawl simple and quick.

If Brock is expected to win their match have him try and cheap shot Bill and eventually get laid out.

I think it's the worse place Bill could pick for his return match when.......

1) He's still hated by most Canadian wrestling fans as the guy responsible for ending the in ring career of their God himself Bret Hart.

2) Brock now lives in Canada so they will jump on him being an honourary Canadian.

Pull apart or just a cancel match stipulation if they do clash before the show? As bad as the MN segment was (head scratcher) I thought last nights segment was booked perfectly!
    J.R.'s Answer:

Personally I would keep Lesnar and Goldberg apart until Nov 20 in Toronto.

I see the arguement for keeping them apart as it keeps it like a boxing title match for example, but I don't agree with it.

I think with the way wrestling is booked, fans expect a little taster before it gets to the big match.

I hadn't considered those two point, yeah Goldberg is gonna get booed out of the building for that. Never mind the fact that it's a big 4 PPV and will be filled with a smark-heavy crowd as well. Factor in the shit matchup, and his location, it's going to be heavily in favor of Lesnar.

But then, maybe Triple H planned it that way. I find it very hard to believe that Paul and Bill have gotten along AT ALL, let alone enough so that Bill would return to the WWE.

An 85 second match short changes the fans and I was shocked how pro Goldberg the crowd was.

After their shite Wrestlemania match you'd have thought second time around they would want to make up for what went down and put on a classic.

After that shitstorm they should now forever be kept apart as we don't need a third installment.

They did just put on a classic.

I will watch that match over and over and brag to everyone that WCW's Phenom just slew WWE's Beast Incarnate.

Also, apparently they are meeting again at the Royal Rumble.

Obviously the bigger picture here is that Brock underestimated Goldberg and will get the better of him later on.

To go off a post in the other thread this was apparently Brock's idea to have a squash. If you look to the point that Goldberg is due to come back at the Royal Rumble, I can see Lesnar causing him to be eliminated/screwing him out of the match, leading to a match at Mania. This would give Goldberg time to not aggravate and recover from this suspected shoulder injury, have Lesnar look strong at the Rumble, and set a match up at mania where Goldberg is less lacking in ring rust, whilst playing the 'Lesnar underestimated Goldberg, but not at WM' card to give credibility for the loss
