I agree. I would only have Braun wrestle once that night and it's looking like being in a title match, so keep him out of the 30 man match.

To keep him popular don't overexpose him. When you see him once a night his pop is always much bigger.

If he shows up again later in the show the crowd are more quiet with their "him again" mentality.

This guy has fast become one my favourite big man wrestlers the stuff he does is incredible for not just a big man but also as a former strong man.

You can see he takes this quite seriously and he is loving every moment of it at the moment I really hope he becomes universal champion eventually if not then at least be moved to smackdown and be WWE champion.

This match in the rumble is just a set up Kane's taking the pin but I see Triple H interfering in the match probably with a sledgehammer to take out Braun as revenge for punking him out back at survivor series and then the night after as well.

When he was going to the ring with Adam Rose as one of his Rose Buds I didn't expect him to end up as a likely future champion.

Quote Braun Strowman vs. Rhyno: Slater is at ringside, and Jojo accidentally announces it as "Heath Slater accompanied by Rhyno." Strowman knocks Rhyno back into the corner and Slater gives Rhyno some words of encouragement. Strowman follows up with a shoulder tackle and a big boot. Slater gets on the apron and Strowman orders the ref to get rid of him. Strowman climbs out of the ring and gets on the mic. He says either Slater can stand on the floor and shut his mouth, or get in the ring and get these hands like his partner. Strowman gets back in the ring and Rhyno hits him, but Strowman stuns him with a headbutt. Slater now runs in and starts beating on Strowman with Rhyno. Strowman shoves them away, and hits running splashes on each of them in opposite corners. Strowman follows up with the running powerslam on Rhyno for the win.

Winner: Braun Strowman

- After the match, the crowd chants "one more time." Strowman goes to pick up Rhyno, but Slater stops him. Slater goes for a kick, but Strowman swats him away. Strowman follows up with a running powerslam on Slater. The crowd chants for more, so Strowman grabs Rhyno and hits another running powerslam on the former ECW Champion. Strowman's music plays, but he's not finished. He grabs Slater and hits another running powrslam on him, then gets on the corner and poses. It looks like Strowman is finished, but he's not. He picks up Rhyno and hits another running powerslam on him. Strowman picks up Slater with one arm, then hits another running powerslam on him.

No matter what he did the crowd popped. The more violent he got, the fans got even louder.

He's not Davey Boy Smith level with his running powerslam, but he's not bad. He ran with Slater before doing it, but with Rhyno he was hitting the move straight away like he was struggling.

I would say that Rhyno was a bit heavier and may not have positioned himself right on the shoulder so probably had a bit too much weight there.

It was good to see Braun being dominant again but for thos who watched it - you may know what im on about here - the thing that impressed me most about Strowman this week was ....

His accuracy and ability to throw a grappling hook !!

I mean come on - first time - perfect shot - youve got to be kidding me

On a serious note - i see this all being done to show that Lesnar has some vulnerability and that people may start to think theres a chance Lesnar loses the title.

This also keeps Braun looking an absolute monster and when Kane takes the fall at the Rumble - his momentum is completely unaffected

They're eventually going to run out of gimmick strength displays for Braun to do. They need to work on presenting him as a threat who can lose and still be a threat because right now he's almost Goldberg level unstoppable. People will get annoyed when he loses, and he will.

I agree Tom.

All this show of sick strength has so far proved nothing where it really matters. In a title match.

He caused chaos on Raw and was excellently booked again - right now he seems unstoppable which is great for him and also for Lesnar when he ultimately comes through the triple threat

Given they teased firing him, im wondering if maybe he could win the rumble and then be fired from Raw allowing SD to sign him and then go on to mania for the SD main event - its just a theory and probably a far less unlikely one tha some of my other theories but he is being built up so well they must have something longer term planned for him

The guy with the cake - funniest thing ive seen on raw in years

They are using Braun as a plot device just to show the overwhelming odds Brock has to overcome. It's all to make Brock look like a strong champion. He isn't dropping the belt, not at the Rumble anyway they'll save that for Reigns at Mania unfortunately.
