Are you kidding me? Hogan took his ball and left after the match. There needed to be a reason. If you noticed HBK was flopping liek a tool, and i fyou look at Hogan face, he is obviously frustrated wiht that. Hogan was (quoted in a interview with Wrestling Epicenter), frustrated wiht the immaturity of HBK. ANgle also siad in his recent interview that while they were planning the match, HBK wanted all these stupid spots with them flopping all over the place. Hogans response "Slow down kid, all I need to do his walk ni there tear my shirt and STILL HAVE THE CROWD INTO THE MATCH AFTER 10 MINUTES." He is known for saying that to most of his younger opponents.

From Jim Ross Website...........

Quote Hey JR I realize that financially speaking it is more desirable to keep the brand extension but do you think it would be a good idea to end it on television while possibly keeping it for live events?

No....more talents need to be exposed on TV and the same storylines are carried out over three shows then some wrestlers would get little or no TV time which would be bad. These brand issues would be solved if more stars would be developed and "break through."

* I'm so much against getting rid of the brand extension that I cannot see any reasonable arguments for dropping it.

* We would get overkill seeing guys 3-4 times a week on every show and they would be more likely to pick up injuries.

* Due to an heavier schedule it might make guys more dependent on pain killers and where exactly would the new stars be made?

I vote no because of how the brands work right now. I really hate the 3 world title thing, and I really hate that theres 2 womens divisions. Oh! I really, really hate that there isn't a cruiserweight division with guys like Matt Sydal and Kofi Kingston on hand. I liked it before when You had 1 world title, 1 tag title, 1 womens title, ect... If it went back to that I would have no problem with having 3brands.

If anything they just be more strict with the brand extention and not have certain wrestlers just show up on the other shows when ever they want. Everyone knows I'm a big Morrison fan but there was one point him and Miz were on all 3 shows some weeks

That is another thing I hate. But when WWE does it for storyline purposes around Mania. It's fine. But I agree I didn't like when Miz and Morrison were on all 3 brands.

The good thing about the brand extension is that it makes matches between stars on different brands more appealing, but this only works if the wrestlers are kept apart through most of the year.

HBK vs Kurt Angle and Brock Lesnar vs Bill Goldberg are prime examples of Mania matches that were able to be built up as dream matches because the wrestlers had never crossed paths previously thanks to the brand extension.

Ok i know Goldberg vs Lesnar turned out to be a complete dud in the ring(mainly due to the fact both wrestlers quit WWE prior to the PPV and the match was to be both mens final appearance in WWE, Goldberg was also uncooperative in the build up and refused to appear on tv in the weeks prior to Mania because legally he didnt have to because he had fulfilled all his contractual obligations except his Mania appearance, his absense from tv hampered the build up somewhat) but that dosnt change the fact that the match was expected to be a dream match and was a big draw for WWE.

They need to keep it, and not get rid of it because it gives other talents more a chance to showcase what they can do on television instead of being held down. If it wasnt for ther brand split, guys like Punk, Orton, Dibiase, plus many others would probably never reach the heights that they have because if the brand split was gone you'd be stuck with Hunter, Cena, Undertaker, HBK, Batista and others just hogging the spotlight.

Its alright when wrestlers appear on other shows BUT only when its close to Wrestlemania, but other than that IMO they need to stay on there own brands and stick there and never jump over.

The only way wrestlers need to appear on shows other than their own is when doing events like Saturday Night's Main Event--special tag matches, etc.--and special episodes of RAW or SmackDown or ECW--if they should ever have one of those.

I kinda wish for next year''s Mania, they let wrestlers from the respective shows take on competition from their respective show and not jump around.  When wrestlers are taking on people from other shows, it always takes away from the matches for that show.  Like this year, with HHH/Orton, Cena/Edge/Big Show and Michaels /Taker--all of these feuds took up so much time on RAW and SD that none of the other matches on the shows got any buildup. It was amazing the amount of buildup that Jericho and the Legends got. ECW didn't even have a Mania match and that's not right.  The tag match was made into a "for DVD only" spectacle and it was really good.  Too bad the viewers at home didn't get to see it.

Agree with the first part.

As for the 2nd, wasn't all of Wrestlemania (well most of them) tri-branded? Like you had Edge (SD) vs. Cena (Raw), Hunter (SD) vs. Orton (Raw), Taker (SD) vs. HBK (Raw), Money In The Bank (which is fair enough), Diva Battle Royal, Matt Hardy (ECW wasn't he?) vs. Jeff (SD)... So pretty much all of the matches were tri-branded.

I think they need to limit those types of matches, instead of having brand vs. brand have more off Raw vs. Raw, SD vs. SD and hopefully next year we get one or two matches that are tri-branded but not the entire card like this years was.

From Jim Ross Website............

Quote From what I can ascertain, the brand separation is going to truly become three, separate entities which was the original concept. I like the concept as it allows many wrestlers to get a chance at the big time that one roster would not facilitate any where near as quickly. I do know that at Judgment Day in Chicago that all three brands announce teams will be at ringside broadcasting their respective bouts. I look forward to the competition between announcers but not to the degree of all that "A" show, etc B.S. that encourages dissension and too much conversation between announcers about things that have zilch to do with embellishing the skills of the wrestlers.

* Something to look forward to at Judgement Day. I wasn't a fan of the three man booth at Backlash.

* I'd like to see Finlay/Kidd there alongside the ECW title match. It's about time the brand had two pay per view matches.

* I can also see John Morrison facing Shelton Benjamin in what could be a match of the night candidate.
