Strowman has personality now. He had nothing close when he started his singles run. When he started getting pushed (Royal Rumble, when he interfered in Roman vs Owens) he was essentially just a big angry guy. Over time he has then developed.

Lashley's been back for 2 months. Give him time. Working with Roman will definitely get him over.

Jinder got over with Roman , heck anyone can. Of course Booby would with him , now Seth , Dean or AJ , not happening. Booby doesn’t have the wow factor. Good talent but not the talent.

I'm not sure I understand what you're saying there. Would you be able to rephrase it? Are you saying that Seth, Dean and AJ wouldn't be able to get over if they were feuding with Roman?

You said give Bobby 2 months and he would be over working with Roman. Jinder worked with him and he got over meaning , anyone you put with Roman will get over kistbdue to the fact the fans do not like Roman.

Gotcha. Completely agree. Roman is the starmaker.

Meh Jinder didnt really get that over with his feud with Roman - yes he got some initial cheers but that soon wore off.

I think people got so behind Strowman because he has a ton of attributes but he also was seen as someone who could legit destroy Roman if he wanted too - People knew Mahal wouldnt /couldn't and i think theyll have the same thoughts around Lashley.

Strowman was a rookie in the business though and was and still is developing his character and improving his all round game, he’s come a long way and while I don’t think he’s the best promo guy I’ve ever seen he plays the growling monster pretty well and he’s over.

Lashley has been in pro wrestling for a good 15 years or more now, his promo skills have always been weak and I don’t see them getting better now. The best route to go with him would be a silent powerhouse destroyer in the Goldberg mold or to turn him into a Lesnar type heel and give him a manager to do his verbal work.

Anyone can get over against Roman Reigns because most fans just want to see RR get beat, but once the feud with Roman is over it probably won’t last, for example I don’t expect fans to suddenly care about Jinder Mahal now just because he was in a feud with Reigns.

He won't always be devoid of personality; that's just the position that he's in right now. Over time he will go on to be more established as a character but right now the whole point is to show that he belongs in the top rung.

The problem you have with saying he needs to be this or that is that those characters already exist and that's not going to help him get over. He's not different if he's a Goldberg clone (look at Ryback) and he won't get over following the Lesnar mould (look at Axel)

Also just making him the tough talking powerhouse is the wrong move right now because Lesnar, Reigns, Strowman and McIntyre are already doing that exact thing.

This feud with Reigns will get eyes on him and it will get people cheering him. Where he goes from there is up to him.

I so totally agree. Bobby is far from a rookie and after 15 years his Mic skills should be as good as anyone but still lack luster

Bobbys promo work showed improvement these past couple of weeks, what this has proved is when delivering a short intense promo he’s reasonably capable, just keep him away from talking about his family and doing ridiculous segments with Sami Zayn.

Lashley looks the part and his ring work is decent, I think he can succeed as a top face although I’d be interested to see him work heel.
