Personally, I think that it's more likely that Big Show's version is more accurate. I truly can't understand Shaq balking at the opportunity to make it a multi-person tag instead of a singles match, because it would've meant he would not have to work as hard. On top of that, Big Show was CONSTANTLY training and publicizing the match, and Shaq was nowhere to be seen by contrast.

Just look at how WWE treats their wrestler's social media accounts. Granted Big Show is a much higher tier superstar, but do you think WWE would have cancelled the match out right and still let Big Show promote it so much? It's just me, but I'm choosing to take Shaq's account with a heap of salt, especially considering he's coming out with all of this after the fact, and the case has been building towards him being the one to get cold feet.

That's fair, but I think you also gotta consider the timeline of things too. The match was building for over a year just for the rumored match at this past WrestleMania, and as time goes on, Shaq's doing his thing, and getting updates from his people who were in contact with the WWE, and through that filter it's not hard to believe what he says is true.

Hell for that matter, Big Show's story could just as likely be true TOO, and the real problem is a failure to communicate.
