Oh dear in his few matches on his own he's shown himself to not be ready for that level of a singles push yet.

With his height, built and hair it looks like E are getting giddy that he reminds them of Andrew 'Test' Martin.

Probably for the best that he's left on Main Event until his tag team partner is back.

He seemed fine to me. I keep hoping to see him stand next to Edge, and call him his mini-me.

Quote We previously here on eWrestlingNews.com that Big Cass had “backstage heat” on him after he went off-script during a segment on WWE SmackDown! Live several weeks ago. Big Cass was only scheduled to boot the little person impersonating Daniel Bryan, but he continued to attack him even after WWE officials, including Vince McMahon, told him not to.

According to WOL’s Bryan Alvarez, Big Cass is said to have “massive heat” on him backstage. The heat reportedly stems from multiple incidents and not just the incident that took place on the SmackDown! Live broadcast prior to WWE Backlash.

Alvarez said: “This is not the first time stupid stuff has happened with Cass“.

Test Lite should be more grateful of the position he's been at on the card since his return from injury.

He's not got it based on mic skills or ring ability. Lets be right he's where he is push wise because of his look.

I suspect other stories of bad behaviour about him will come out.

Actually he's pretty good all the way around. He's not great mind you, but he's far from lacking like Roman Reigns was when he first set off on his own. Cass may still just be finding his groove, but I think there's no where to go but up for him as he's not floundering in any aspect of his on-screen showings.

Doing things like going off script this soon in career could bite him in the ass but ultimately you want a guy that can improvise and make a judgement call to help get a segment over.

Heat over this incident is pretty stupid really. If it's an issue of trust with management, they need to downplay it not blow up over it. Just course correct, tell him it's too soon to be doing things like that, as he's not Stone Cold or the Rock or John Cena, and until he is, and has put in MANY more years soas to know what the driving forces are for Vince, he'd be better off just sticking to the script, otherwise Vince will lose confidence in him and won't feature him as often, or even at all if he can't be trusted.

At this stage in his career, I'd be willing to bet Cass would get the cold sweats just hearing THAT. No need to shatter him completely over a call you want Cass to feel like he can make, even if it wasn't the right one.

I think hes pretty bland when hes on the mic in terms of promo delivery but he says the right things. He sometimes does go a little overboard with the goading and gloating which is part of the reason he has nuclear heat IMO.

His in ring stuff is hard to judge, i mean hes only really had the matches with Bryan that i can actually remember anything from and they were minimal at best. Both guys being eased back from injury.

Will reserve judgement for a few months

Considering how inexperienced and new to the heel role he is I think he's doing pretty good.
He's getting great heat and he's confident and effective in his promo work, he will get better as time goes so he could end up having all the tools to be a headliner.

They've likely paired him with Bryan in his first feud because DB is such a pro in the ring and can help Cass get a bit of seasoning on his ring work.

As previously reported here on eWrestlingNews.com, there is said to be “massive heat” on WWE Superstar Big Cass after he went off-script during a recent SmackDown! Live segment. There are several other reasons for the “backstage heat” as well but the segment on SmackDown! Live was said to have been the “last straw” for him. During the latest edition of his “X-Pac 1,2,360” podcast, Sean “X-Pac” Waltman commented on the situation. He said,

“We have a saying in the [pro wrestling] industry, and it’s not just in our industry. It’s better to say sorry than ask for permission. But if you’re gonna go with that approach, you can’t go ahead and ask for permission and then get told no. And it seems like that’s the case here, and that’s just absolutely f’ing insane. Look. A lot of us have gone against the grain and done things that the company doesn’t like, but we never really went and asked for permission, but specifically told no, and then went and did it anyway on live TV. So, I understand if you feel the need, you wanna go out there and get over, but man.”

Waltman also added that it’s not about Big Cass asking to “tweak” the original plans, but doing the opposite of what he was told to do. He said, “can be in the doghouse so long, [WWE can] forget what you’re in there for.”

Typical Waltman response. Instead of asking, being told no and doing it anyway. He should have just gone and done it and said sorry when he got told off LOL

He's in the doghouse as it is and now he's picked up another injury, so might start getting a injury prone reputation, more so due to his heat.

It also looks like his Daniel Bryan fued could be over, which would be much shorter lived than probably first planned.
