Has anyone seen this show?  This show is hilarious.  Fits in perfectly with Two and Half Men on the Monday Night schedule on CBS.

It's about this group of nerds that work together on, of course, scientific stuff.  Two of them live together--Sheldon and Leonard.  Sheldon is so uptight about things, it's a wonder he can breathe but he is a riot.

Kaley Cuoco, who plays Penny, is their neighbor and she is funny too.  She's the beauty queen type without the personality to go with it.  You wouldn't think she'd hang out with nerds but her and Leonard are good friends and he has somewhat of a crush on her.

Really funny show.

I've seen a few episodes of it, and it's hilarious at times, but occasionally does just seem to go into overkill with the gags, which ruins a show if done too many times.

I don't know when its on anymore, so I can't watch it =[

I watched the first series and loved it - absolutely hilarious!! Have always been a Johnny Galecki fan since his days in Roseanne.

Think the second series starts over here in the UK this week.

I've seen all of them so far, and it's one of my favourite shows atm (along with House and Chuck). The characters mix well and it's geeky enough for me to understand it and relate to them (although not TOO much, I do have a social life that doesn't involve computers.....actually no I don't lol).

Well, the 2nd series started last week in the UK. Two eps back to back on E4 wednesdays. Been really funny again so far.

I mentioned I've been a Johnny Galecki fan since Roseanne on my post above. It's great to see him reunited with Sara Gilbert (his wife Darlene in 'Roseanne'), even if only for a select few episodes. She was in one or two last season as well.

that's been the worst part of this show--having Sara Gilbert on here.  She is not funny.  I don't understand why she keeps getting roles in shows.  She needs to be slapped in the mouth.  All she does is talk filthy and smart off at people.  I hope she's on for just a few select episodes cause I can't stand her.

The guy that plays Sheldon is naturally funny.  She probably has to have a sign flashing saying "Laugh" when she speaks.

This has become one of my new favourite shows recently - watched the first series on Channel 4 in the UK but it's only started on E4 which I don't have so I may need to wait before I can watch the second series.

I downloaded every episode and watched them all virtually back to back just to be able to particpate in this thread. Really. I'd never seen this show before a couple of days ago, but I have to say it is friggin hillarious. I loved the fact that they get the whole "will they won't they" scenario out of the way really quickly and Sheldon is my all time favorite genius ever. Sara Gilbert just comes of as a total bitch and isn't really working the "opposite of Sheldon" angle very well. I wish that would stop, but other than that it is a great ensemble of actors doing a very well written show. I'm just amazed at how accurate most things are on the show. Whenever nerds are involved there's usually a whole bunch of random sci-fi crap tossed about at random intervals, but on BBT it gives actual nerd arguments on things like Star Trek and online gaming.

I love this show! My hubby and I sit down every week to watch it together and we laugh pretty much the entire time. The characters are great - very believable. I love Sheldon. I don't think there's any other show I like quite as much at the moment, to be honest. Big Bang Thoery is just plain awesome.

I think CBS has figured out the deal with Sara Gilbert being on here is not working out as on the past few episodes, her appearances have been limited to virtually nothing.  I'm glad too.  I didn't like her on Roseanne and I don't like her on here.  She's just not a good actress.  all she does is cuss.  I guess she thinks that makes her look big or something.  The way the guy that plays Sheldon would play off of it was great though.

This show is awesome.  I tape this every week then watch it again to transfer it over to DVDs.
