I saw an online dirt sheet that had up that news a couple of days ago. Idk what was up with Barbie Skank, though.

Could quite easily be down to the fact she wanted to do the match but come the time she couldn't go through with it? Grief is dealt with in so many different ways, and I have to say not even the WWE would go as far as to making up a death of a family member to get her out of action.

oh, don't get me wrong, i'm not saying WWE have made anything up, just that am surprised they didn't replace the graphic, especially since she wasn't at the venue.

does this show that even the dirtsheets don't pay attention to what they write?

Or conversely that WWE doesn't pay attention to the Divas graphics.

*BUMP

so, it would appear that Mrs Copeland is to have a small return, I would guess ending with her and Nattie facing off against Nia and Tamina and Bailey and Banks with potentially a SDL team at Mania.

it certainly felt weird for Nattie to come out and cut a promo referencing Ronda, but not having anything to do with her at all. I mean, not even a backstage skit where she tries to talk to her.

will be interesting to see what the actual plan is going forward, since thus far, I don't really feel there's any real plans for what to do with the female Tag titles.

I actually like that idea. Maybe a four way tag title match of Beth/Nattie vs Banks/Bayley vs Jax/Tamina vs Peyton/Kay, I did hear that WWE were lining up Trish/Lita to work with Banks/Bayley at Wrestlemania but maybe that's now off the table.

I would prefer the Divas of Doom to Trish and Lita anyway. The Divas of Doom have talent.

oooo burn

Lita was pretty talented in the ring

Trish relied on her looks but i was OK with that because at the time they were relevant, pretty much everyone in that division relied on their looks

It's fair comment really, Trish was all about her looks and got over thanks to her sex appeal and charisma, Lita was just a spot monkey. But then both were part of a era where ring work just wasn't that important if you were female in WWE. They will always be remembered as the two Women that made the Women's Title relevant. Beth Phoenix is a far better choice in terms of ring work and I would really like to see her mix it up with many of the current roster.

I agree Beth was better in the ring but honestly for me, WWE need to concentrate on building more stars in the Womens division if they really want to cement this revolution.

Sure they can claim they have been involved in the first female HIAC match, theres the tag titles etc etc but in years to come i cant see anything other than people looking back and going yeah they had some decent workers like Lynch and Flair - which is how we currently look back on the previous womens division - we basically remember 1 or 2 names and nothing else spectacular.

The mens division has got a lot of stick over the years for relying on stars of the past instead of building stars for the future and i really think the womens division should be building their stars for the future.
