More importantly though is what does this do to the push Becky is getting??? How long will she be out? How do you pick up this momentum again???

Becky is very much like what ziggler was around the time he won the title after cashing in MITB. He got a concussion and look what happened after that - he faded.

I really hope the same doesnt happen for Becky but Bliss has been OOA for a long time due to concussions and Vega is also out now.

The pattern must surely be being seen by the WWE officials and if it is then youd expect them to keep her out longer than neccessary.
What that means for the title, who knows?

I'm more gutted about her injury because of how awesome she looked on Raw and i was looking forward to a Rousey response on SD - guess theyll can that somehow tonight

I'm guessing they'll somehow work it in that Nia Jax was the one that caused the concussion and move up that instead? Either that or they'll go with Charlotte stepping up to face Rousey?

Can't really see any other opponent than Charlotte if they are going to insist Rousey faces someone at SS

Can anyone think of a circumstance where an opponent to a major match (likely the main event to the PPV) was injured on the go-home show so they couldn't wrestle, and what WWE has done about it in the past? Do they pull the match completely or do they find a substitute to stand in for the injured wrestler?

I honestly am drawing blanks trying to think of an example where this has happened in the past.

EDIT: Well it's official, Becky is out and Charlotte is in. It sucks because while this is a dream match the trigger is being pulled too soon and without any build up. WWE is in a bad place so I hope the live crowd don't shit on the match, but it is a huge letdown after this great build for Rousey vs Becky.

For the record the injury isn't just a broken nose and a concussion, it's the highest severity of concussion possible and a broken face. FACE! God damn man. The pictures of her today make her look just this side if Brutus The Barber Beefcake after his accident.

Becky is going to be out a long time.

This may be a saving grace for Ronda, the fans are so into Becky right now I'm pretty sure they would have cheered Becky and booed Ronda and this fresh into her WWE career I'm not sure Rousey would have dealt with this well and used it to her advantage, unless plans were in place for a double-turn as WWE must be aware this was a strong possibility.

I'm gutted though, I was really looking forward to Becky vs Ronda and was hoping it would main event the show, don't think I've ever been able to say that about a womens match.

So now they've had to rush forward the Charlotte vs Rousey match, I get it as really this was the only option with some serious damage control needed due to the disappointment of the cancellation of Lynch/Rousey which had been superbly booked in the build-up which had only increased the fan anticipation. Its just a shame that Charlotte/Ronda will now happen with no build.
On the other hand with how over Becky is right now why don't WWE just change course and delay Becky vs Rousey until Wrestlemania? This would also allow time for Becky to turn babyface which needs to happen and for Ronda to flip to the heel role. Perhaps Becky could win the Royal Rumble to set this up?

Becky will be out for a while but the Doctors don't expect it to be so long that she has had to vacate the title; which is a good sign that we'll see her return before the Royal Rumble. The expectation is that we could see Lynch vs Rousey at the Rumble, with Nia Jax getting beaten by Rousey at TLC and no Smackdown title match on the card.

Unfortunately now everyone knows if someone hauls off and punches you for real, your face implodes. I suggest you keep practicing your tough guys faces in the mirror, should be very effective physical therapy.
And have fun watching Korean soap operas on Netflix or whatever the hell the Millennial Man does with her fre

Don’t worry I’m not the back stabbing cheap shotting ambushing cowardly type, so you’re perfectly safe to take your time and heal up until your figurative balls have dropped and you’re finally ready to for your comeuppance. I want you 100% healed up, prepared, and looking me in the eye when the bell rings. Lemmie know when you’re done healing your boo boos and ready for me to serve you your ass on a silver platter with your avocado toast.
I do have to admit, The Millennial Man is stunningly conniving. She poked the bear and ran like a bat outta hell when the bear awoke - Feeding me her favorite frienemy and fellow #FAUXhorsewoman @charlottewwe is a new level of manipulative cowardice, even for The Millennial Man. @charlottewwe is a Superfight and I've always wanted to fight her - but she's just the stand in for the beating @beckylynchwwe has coming to her this Sunday. I’ll be sending The Champ a choice piece of Charlotte as a souvenir🖕🏼 #RondaVsCharlotte #SurvivorSeries #Nov18 #4hourswomenVSfauxhorsewomen

Just gonna put this here...

God I can't wait to see Rousey turn heel. This is her holding back.
