Rollins vs Balor was a great face vs face mini feud if you ask me.

Looking at reason briefcase holders reveals very few turns. The last face was Ambrose. Rollins turned face if anything. Same with Ziggler. The last heel turn was Orton, wasn't it? Before that Punk? You turn a heel face more often than a face heel if you ask me.

You're using crowd monitoring logic, not booking logic. Just because they got over with the fans and they started to like them, doesn't mean they're booked baby. Heels and faces are booked just as black and white today as they ever were.

Ambrose baby, Cena baby, RVD baby

Orton turned, Kane turned, Bryan turned, Punked turned (2nd win)

Corbin heel, Sandow heel, ADR heel, Sheamus heel, Ziggler heel, Carmella heel, Edge heel, Punk heel (first win), Swagger heel, Kennedy heel, Miz heel.

On one hand, yes some of those guys got fan support and "effectively" turned babyface, but they were still booked heel. Just like despite the fact that Reigns is "effectively" the biggest heel in the business today, he's still technically a babyface because that's how he's booked. So while I get what you're saying, what I'm saying is that overwhelmingly the MitB winner ends up booked heel. And I wouldn't want that for Becky Lynch, despite the fact that I'm sure she'd be good at it.

Quote Becky Lynch is backstage warming up. She's up next against Sonya Deville.

- Becky Lynch vs. Sonya Deville: Sonya misses some kicks early on and Becky tackles her. Sonya starts to mount a comeback, but Becky stuns her with a kick. They trade arm holds until Becky sends Sonya through the ropes down to the ringside floor. Sonya pulls Becky outside and they fight at ringside over the announce table. Back in the ring, Sonya comes back and takes Becky down for a two count. Sonya works on keeping Becky grounded with a head lock. Becky fights up to her feet and comes back with a t-bone suplex for a two count. Sonya comes back with a knee strike out of the corner for a two count of her own. Mandy Rose causes a distraction from ringside and Sonya continues the offense. Becky grabs Sonya and knocks her into Mandy on the apron, then locks Sonya in the Disarm-her for the win via submission.

Winner: Becky Lynch

- Becky celebrates in the ring as Mandy recovers on the floor from having her partner slammed into her.

Another strong win to continue to build her back up as a credible title challenger.

Especially as she was on her own and was smarter than multiple people.

She's got to have a title run this year.

Quote Women's Champion Becky Lynch is backstage arriving at the arena. She appears to have bruising around her eye.

- Paige comes out to the ring and she introduces the entire Women's SmackDown roster one by one. She introduces Becky Lynch last, and says Becky will be picking her replacement to face Ronda Rousey at Survivor Series. Becky gets on the mic and says she took a beating last night and that never stopped her before -- but this time the medical team won't clear her to wrestle on Sunday. Becky says she could still kick Ronda's ass even with her injury, and that Ronda isn't tough she's lucky. Becky says now she has to pick her replacement for Survivor Series, and she chooses Charlotte. Becky and Charlotte shake hands and hug, then Becky heads to the back.

I wasn't a fan of her having her Stone Cold Becky Lynch persona she's had lately watered down.

I didn't want her saying thank you to fans and didn't like her hugging Charlotte either.

She should have ignored the cheers, told Charlotte she picked her but doesn't like her still and walked off.

I thought she did a pretty good job of staying true to her new persona while tweaking it only very slightly to allow for a subtle babyface turn.

Becky is currently the most popular woman on the roster it would be senseless of WWE to keep her heel, especially when they have so many top ladies who could easily turn heel to fill the void, Charlotte, Sasha, Ronda, Asuka just to make a few who could all be more effective as heels.

You can ignore the fan reaction sometimes when it’s not too overwhelming, Kevin Owens for example always gets cheers but not to the point of where it demands a face turn as he still gets enough of a heel reaction too, Becky’s popularity however is currently greater than most of the top faces.
