Quote Source: prowrestling.net

-- Batista has openly expressed frustration with his push over the past several months and has seriously considered taking time off as a result. He is upset with WWE's booking and feels that the company does not portray him as being in the top tier of performers. Some people backstage felt that Batista's clean win over John Cena at SummerSlam was an attempt to pacify him. Despite that high-profile win, Batista remains unhappy.

* Who the hell does he think he is? He should think himself lucky with how he's portrayed.

* He's probably pissed off at not holding the belt for quite a while.

* He's no reason to be annoyed. He's always around the main event picture.

* I'd like to know from him just what exactly he's got to be unhappy with and why.

Someone probably rick rolled him.

I agree. He's got such a great position in the company in the eyes of the fans. He's been pushed to be that guy that goes all the way, but just as he's about to win it all goes wrong. He's the guy with bad luck. The guy that gets screwed over. Hopefully this will lead to a big heel turn, but I doubt it.

This should lead to a big heel turn, even if only just to spite him. He is being put into a position where the fans are basically being told to love him due to simple habit (which is basically what happens when you're a high level face for a long time unless it's long enough for them to get tired of it) and are given no reason not to follow along. He hasn't held the belt very much since losing it to the Undertaker some 17-18 months ago? He should try waiting for seven years, being shoved into the midcard, getting burnt out, leaving the company in humiliating fashion, and seeing his comeback start off as a total fail until a heel turn comes. That's what it took for Chris Jericho to get back to the top, and you don't see him whining about it in real life!

Seems to me like all those months of being booked into title matches and coming up short, the exaggerated whining Big Dave does after every match wasn't totally scripted. He should be turned heel and allowed to vent it out so the fans can see the true Dave Batista. That's one heel I am not gonna cheer for.

.....and please, if they turn him heel, do not stick him with Orton or Jericho--the two best on RAW right now.

I've never been that big of a fan of Batista's.  His best programs were when Evolution ended and the one with The Undertaker and notice it took two of the best workers in the business in HHH and Taker to make him look good.

To me it seems like Dave doesn't know how this business really works. He always want to be THE MAN and doesn't understand that some times you have to take a backseat. He doesn't sell being hurt well, he always talk to much on promos to make it sound like he's always right. Even though he is not as bad at it he reminds me of the Warrior with the way he wants his character to be seen

Considering the extensive championship padding history of the guy who brought him up to main event status, that statement just opened up the chapter of "bad influence" on the list of reasons for people to slag HHH.

What an ungrateful, selfish bastard he his. WWE pushed him from the bland, 'just another boring muscleman' bodyguard of D'Von Dudley to the World Heavyweight champ and he STILL isnt happy?! Who does he think he is, Hogan or Rock? WWE has done a lot more for Batista than anyone else on the roster, considering Cena, Orton, HBK and Jericho actually have charisma and work rate, so they have earned their places. Big Dave cant really wrestle, cant do promos with any real conviction, and is still boring, but isnt doing anything to improve this. When Jericho realised he was not getting over with fans, he stepped up and turned his character serious, drawing heat from fans, and is now reaping the rewards. HHH promoted him in Evolution and jobbed to him on 3 consecutive PPVs, and also when Smackdown had seperate PPVs, Batista headlined nearly them all. It seems he is the Kevin Nash of WWE, wants the top status without the effort. WWE should save the hassle and fire his miserable ass.

I just looked at the thread, and I think we forgot to mention this. Apparently he's upset enough that he's considering retiring soon because he's not getting the big push he feels he should get. Honestly, that's exactly why I refuse to side with Batista on any of this. Without Triple H, Edge, and the Undertaker to feed him credibility, Batista is just a big guy stuck with a fan backlash that's even worse than the one they gave John Cena. He should be grateful to those three that fans tolerate him even being as high on the card as he is. Instead, because he doesn't feel that holding the world belt for 3 months out of the last 17 is enough, despite the fact that 90% of all wrestlers would kill to ever be as close to a world title as he is, he's out here crying "push me or I quit!" And here they go pacifying him with an easy future title shot. In which he's obviously gonna lose to Jericho and get back to whining both on and off screen.

Honestly, if Batista wants to retire just because he's not wearing gold these days, I say let him. Or perhaps Sting should take a trip to his house and preach to him about respect. Because honestly, to pacify him with a title win, which I highly doubt happen, would send a message that you can whine your way to a world heavyweight title. Wow, what a great role model for the kids! I can see it now:

"When the going gets tough, cry and whine about not getting what you think you deserve! Don't do what Jericho did and adjust your gameplan! Don't do what Christian did and seek a better venue at the risk of changing the landscape of a business you love! Instead, be a crybaby! I'm Dave Batista and I approve this message! Vote me for your World Heavyweight Champion… or I will destroy everyone! RRRRRRRAAAAAAARRRRGGGGGGHHHHH!!!!!"

What a guy to look up to, huh? Exactly. I'd rather stick to Edge, if I may say so myself.

looks like Trips may have to pull him to the side and tell him to cool it cause even though I've seen reports that McMahon likes him because he draws huge business overseas, we all know if someone throws shit in McMahon's face, he throws it back.

Stupid fucker should shut the fuck up.  He got the spot that was suppose to be Orton's when Evolution broke up.

EDIT: you and I were posting at the same time so I didn't see yours until mine was up but that was great once again, Pac-man.  Man, if they take that title off of Jericho and give it to him, Jericho should tell them to fuck off and leave again.  It's been Jericho and Michaels that have been carrying RAW this entire summer and now that Randy Orton is back, he's at least taking a little of the load off of them and providing us with some additional entertainment with DiBiase, Rhodes and Manu.  Well, at least me anyway.

He's probably just worked up because he's not the World champ.

I can see a big heel turn too a Cena/Batista feud would be great.

Batista is probably jealous that John Cena's the only guy that gets attention on RAW.

He's not used to the fact that John Cena has his number and his fans.

"Aww Boogs it has been so long without you.

How are you doing my love.

You have got to know I love you.

You were so supportive of me and stood right there with me.
