Just curious as to why Baron was given this role ? I seem to remember that he had some heat when he was on Smackdown but he’s a good talent and a great heel when he was full time in the ring. He’s ok being general manager but I liked his wrestling role a bit better. Who knows maybe Hogan will fill that role one of these days.

Corbin accidentally broke character during his promo against Angle. You could see Angle crying during his farewell segment, but I was quite surprised to see Corbin doing his best to hide them after cutting his promo and approaching the ring. It's good to know how much he appreciates his match against Angle. I suppose it's fairly safe to say Angle has made a pet project out of Corbin since Jason Jordan got injured. Behind the scenes Angle has probably been serving as a mentor to Corbin ever since returning.

Corbin didnt get heat as nuclear as i thought he would this week, however with his modified ring introduction (listing all of his accolades) and the now bragging rights - its not long before the levels go up.

Again, like Bliss, im not sure what hes going to do now but it is definitely intriguing

Yeah I'm still in the wait and see phase with Corbin. I really don't mind that he got the win against Angle. I don't see why people are so butthurt about legends losing to some up and coming heel no one likes in their final match.

So Corbin was pretty active n Social Media last week and made a post on Y2J becoming AEW champion. It basically said that all of the people that hated on what WWE are doing are now forced to love everything AEW are doing, even though its the same as what WWE does.

He got alot of positive feedback from wrestling fans and i think that sort of transitioned onto this weeks Raw because he was alot more over with the fans and there was even a small pop when he picked up the pinfall to move to the KOTR final.

He is getting alot better in the ring and he is one of the best heels in WWE - he knows exactly how to rub the fans up the wrong way. He just needs something to push him to the top of the card and it could be something such as winning this tournament.

I'd like to see the final be between him and Elias (yes Kon i know you do too), however i cant see a Heel v Heel final so would assume that Chad Gable picks up the win on Smackdown.

Corbin is one of the best natural heels in WWE, he gets great heat, people genuinely don't like him but he still goes out there and has great matches.

He has to be the favourite to win the tournament now and while I would have liked to have see McIntyre, Andrade or Joe win I understand why they are going with Corbin as I think out of everyone involved he is the best fit for the King gimmick which he can use to get even more heat.

I'm glad he's stopped wearing the shirt during his matches as he looked ridiculous, I remember reading somewhere that he wrestled dressed like that to get heat but it cant have been comfortable to work matches like that.

We got the finale of the KOTR this week and saw Corbin pick up a win against Gable after a pretty dominant performance.

When the pin was counted, a large section of the crowd cheered which adds to my theory of Corbin getting more and more over.

He has definitely improved in the ring and his cockiness as a heel is excellent so the KOTR title really suits the heel style he has.

Now that this is done though and he milks the reaction, im not sure i see where he goes from here - maybe a mid card title challenge?

Excellent match with Gable, was a dominant showing from Corbin but Gable got enough in as the underdog and the match kept you gripped as it could have gone either way, both men deserve big praise for their work here.

Corbin continues to win people over through his hard work and improvement, his heel work is great everything from his mannerisms and how he works the crowd, it's also said hes seen as a very safe worker in the ring being able to pull off realistic looking moves and spots without ever hurting anyone.

At this point I would love to see Corbin getting a run with a secondary title and maybe eventually even the World title. I used to be a Corbin hater but hes improved his character and ring work to the point of where hes now one of the highlights of the show.

From what little I have seen, I don't think he has improved, rather he has a being produced and booked better.
