Where would you put her when she debuts on the main roster? I think she will be a better fit on Raw, away from Nakamura so you've not got two people from the same part of the world, with the same language barrier on the same show.

Taz on his show gave a good idea. Have her debut as a babyface, LOSE her debut, shock awe tactics, have the announce team make a big deal of it and show fans looking shocked like when Taker lost to Brock.

Then you can see how her character reacts to a situation she's not used to and maybe turn her quickly heel because she becomes angry at her defeat before she goes through the female roster for letting down her county people (like Jinder on Smackdown always mentions as a heel that he's wrestling for).

I've mentioned in the NXT thread or the Asuka in NXT thread she'd be better off on Raw as SD has the briefcase and other things going for them. The ladies on Raw are just going through the motions so Asuka there, continuing her undefeated streak would be the best bet.

This would be like having Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens turn on each other and start feuding on their first day they're both in the company... oh wait.

It completely takes the momentum away from any storyline they might have built up for. With Zayn/Owens they spent more time trying to convince the audience that Zayn and Owens was a shocking turn of events like that of Shawn Michaels and Marty Jannetty than actually telling any new story. If Asuka were to lose day one, no one is going to give a shit, and no matter how much the commentators say this is just like when Undertaker or Goldberg lost, no one is going to believe nor care.

I don't like it. Give her to Paul Heyman on RAW, make her only the 2nd women ever to be a Paul Heyman girl (Medusa/Alundra Blaze was the first) have him build her up like she's the female Brock Lesnar, Bill Goldberg, and Undertaker combined into one, have her knock Nia Jax out cold with one roundhouse kick to the head, scare the living shit out of Alexa Bliss, and then on her PPV debut match give her the zombie facepaint and squash Dana Brooke and Alicia Fox in a handicap match.

So after watching the videos on youtube uploaded from Raw about Asuka, I'm looking forward to her debut. Here is what they need to do:

"Ladies and Gentlemen my name is Paul Heyman and I am here to announce that I have acquired a new client. She, yes SHE is the holder of the only streak worth mentioning in all of the WWE universe today that remains unconquered. For 523 days she was the reigning, defending, undefeated NXT women's champion, the Empress of Tomorrow, Asuka! She has since stepped down as NXT Women's champion because she has gotten bored with the competition there, and now my client has tasked me with my first job as her advocate; to deliver a message from her to you, the WWE Universe. +Ahem+ "No one is ready for Asuka." But Ladies and Gentlemen, ready or not, here she comes."

What they need to do is get Io Shirai in so they can give us Asuka vs Sane vs Shirai before it's too late. In order to do that they need to change their rules haha.

Does anyone know how long Asuka's contract runs? Did/will she sign a new one after moving to Raw? I'm really hoping Asuka will not be going anywhere anytime soon. At this point she is my favorite full-time wrestler in the WWE. I know Kairi signed a 3 year deal, but I don't know what happened with Io Shirai aside from the fact that she signed a contract but couldn't wrestle because of an injury.

Supposedly they revoked the contract offer as they don't sign people with concussion/neck injury history.

Glad she's heading to Raw, I did read a report that a refurbishment of the women's division is planned soon, hopefully this will see a few more of the better female talents moving over to Raw.

I wonder if Asuka is the planned opponent for Ronda Rousey at next years Wrestlemania.

That would be one spectacular match that I would really hope to see Asuka win. Not many (any???) women in the women's division I would want to see beat Rousey at WrestleMania, but Asuka is definitely one of them.

In honesty though I think it'll be Rousey vs Charlotte at Wrestlemania, that's my gut feeling. Asuka vs a heel Sasha Banks for the title would be a good spot for her on the card.
