All I can think is Apollo is still very young and he's just paying his dues, but it will be hard to ever really establish him as a credible talent with this many clean losses in the lower-card.

They can only be building to a feud with Titus - frustrated that the brand has done nothing for him because like you say with so many clean losses he has zero momentum and is being used as filler every single week

Maybe but without Titus he would struggle to connect with the audience, Apollo gets his matches over with his impressive athletic style but his character is as dull as they come.

I always thought he might be a good shout for a Paul Heyman guy, great look and athletic credentials but little personality. He could do with ditching the whole smiley babyface thing as well that's doing him no favours.

Quote Bray Wyatt vs. Apollo Crews: Titus and Dana Brooke of Titus Worldwide are at ringside in Crews' corner. Crews starts this one off strong, but Wyatt decks him and focuses on keeping Crews grounded. Wyatt stares down Dana and she seems disturbed by it. Wyatt continues the beat-down on Crews until Apollo catches him with a running big boot out of nowhere. Crews fires up with more kicks, then a flying clothesline. Crews hits a standing shooting star press for a two count on Wyatt. Crews looks for the powerbomb but Wyatt catches him with a lariat. Dana gets on the apron and yells to Apollo, then Wyatt chases her off and she falls onto Titus at ringside. Dana and Titus crash down at ringside as Wyatt watches. Apollo takes advantage of the distraction with a flying kick to the face, but Wyatt is able to come back with a Sister Abigail out of nowhere for the three count.

Winner: Bray Wyatt

I think they are still seriously undervalued when they have a good look and a decent gimmick.

Used correctly, by now they would have a t shirt that is one of the biggest sellers in the whole company.

They don't need a heel turn, they just need to be pushed on a win streak, especially as Raw has a poor tag team division in relation to Smackdown.

The match was far more even than expected. Most of us know Apollo has a massive upside, it's just unfortunate he was called up to the main roster so early. If he had those extra couple of years in NXT to polish his character he'd be ahead of the game and in a solid mid to upper mid card role right now.

As for Titus Worldwide...I like the idea around it....it needs more substance now though.

That's true. It wasn't a complete squash and did have more competition than expected.

A lot think it works against Apollo that his manager is bigger than him, so overshadows the real star of the team.

That shouldn't be the case. They could easily be built up into a team that you could envision with a title run down the line.

Yeah Apollo was hurried on to the main roster and as a result has found himself floundering in the low-card.

It’s a shame because he has a great look and phenomenal athletic ability but he just lacks a piece of the puzzle somewhere and has failed to make a real connection with the fans.

The Titus World-Wide thing would have worked if they’d remained heel and Apollo could have gone in a new direction with his character, but instead he remained the same smiling generic white meat babyface he’d always been only this this time he has Titus in his corner which in a way has lowered Apollo’s status further as he is constantly over-shadowed by Titus who has a much larger personality.

They just need some solid wins. Unfortunately with Crews' limited moveset and lack of charisma the only way to really push him would be the Goldberg push.

That said, Titus Brand is now a fairly solid and established team. They're interesting and I think giving Crews a decent win record with Titus and Brooke's backing could make something happen for them.

You know I think that could work.

Have the Titus/Apollo relationship disintegrate and then Apollo vanishes from TV for a while, maybe even back to NXT for a bit.

Then have Crews return with a new more serious character, no more smiling, hardly ever talks, he destroys his opponents in a couple of minutes with big power based and athletic moves Goldberg style.

Apollo has some great offence in his arsenal and for a big man he’s very athletic but he is green and limited and he’s just painfully generic. I think the Goldberg route could work.

I disagree.  I think Apollo Crews is quite bland in the WWE, with or without Titus/Dana.  On the indies, his style worked.  In WWE, he really doesn't stand out all that much.  Titus, however, is a seriously charismatic individual.  I loved the minor backstage skit they did with Tozawa on YouTube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hon3w_lNzr0.  But those skits aren't heavily scripted - which shows that Titus can work a segment when given some bullets.

The gimmick of the "Titus Brand" is great - but Crews doesn't make it great, and Dana certainly doesn't (has she done anything to debut with the Brand?  I swear she just showed up in a suit and started hanging with them).  Titus makes the team, but he needs someone better to work with IMO.  Crews is "okay" in-ring while in WWE and I can't see the guy being a heel.  Strangely enough, I'm not sure anyone else would work with Titus though.  Maybe bring in the NXT team Street Profits?  They seem corney and a good mix with Titus as the new "Titus Branded" tag team.

Yeah I like that idea, the Street Profits and Titus I think would mesh quite nicely.

You’re right though Titus is decent in this mentor/manager role but he’s just getting given talent that they have no ideas for so effectively he’s getting lumbered with people, neither Apollo or Dana are doing anything for Titus and Dana’s role in the group is just a bit bizarre.

Still think the Goldberg route with Crews is worth a shot.

E creative have been reading here LOL I would say beating the tag team titles number one contender and former champions is a solid win. Surprising win too.

Quote Sheamus & Cesaro vs. Titus O'Neil & Apollo Crews: Dana Brooke is at ringside in Titus Worldwide's corner. Sheamus and Titus start off with back and forth brawling. Titus decks Sheamus with a shoulder tackle, then tags in Crews. Crews briefly works over Sheamus until Sheamus fights him off and tags in Cesaro. Cesaro and Sheamus briefly double team Crews until Crews fires back with a dropkick. Crews follows up with a standing moonsault for a 2 count. Crews throws Cesaro outside and Cesaro strts selling an injury. Back in the ring, Sheamus tags in and double teams Crews with Cesaro. Sheamus starts dropping knees on Crews and keeps him grounded. Sheamus misses a shot in the corner and hits the ring post, allowing Crews to get the hot tag to Titus. Titus tags in and cleans house. The match falls apart with the non-legal men running in, and the finish comes when Titus rolls up Sheamus out of nowhere for the three count.

Winners: Titus O'Neil & Apollo Crews

- After the match, Sheamus and Cesaro are in shock at the loss. Titus Worldwide celebrates as we see the replays.

Number one contenders booked in a surprising defeat doesn't happen often at all, so this needs to lead to somewhere. Put in the title match to make it a triple threat?

I would like to know what the papers says on the clipboard of the Alexandra York rip off Dana Brookes.
