Quote From Good Ole Jr

JA Asks:

This is going to be an odd question. But I have watched many 3 hour ppvs and 4 hour long Wrestlemanis. There is just one thing that bothers me. How can you sit there that long without going to the bathroom? I am assuming that at least once in your career, you sat there during a 3 hour long show and just had to go. Is there a way you can run to the back?

J.R.'s Answer:

Happened only once and that was with Terry Funk in a WCW PPV from Greensboro with about a half a house on hand. Other than that I've endured. I did pass a fragmented kidney stone once during a live, PPV in Baltimore. That wasn't so pleasant.

Wow, why didnt the guy just ask him boxers or briefs geez what a question. Anyway passing a kidney stone is not pleasant.

it is definitely a weird question but you haven't ever wondered about that.  I know I couldn't make it that long without having something to drink or having to go to the restroom.  Then again, I am a diabetic and do get thirsty and go to the restroom a lot.

Quote There is some speculation as to who will be announcing WrestleMania 27 as the feeling is it doesn't make much sense to have Jerry Lawler and Michael Cole call most of it and then work a match against each other. Jim Ross is always being speculated on for a return but at last year's WrestleMania, early plans were for him to announce but he didn't. Shawn Michaels and Undertaker even requested that Ross work the pay-per-view but it wasn't the direction that Vince McMahon wanted.

Keep Cole and Lawler both off the announce table for the night.

Bring back JR and have him lead the whole show with help from Josh Matthews and Matt Striker in a three man booth.

That would be a more than adequate broadcast booth for the big show.

Didn't you love how Cole sucked up to Mr. McMahon when the 'Voice of WWE' but put himself ahead of other WWE HOF'ers such as Gordon Solie and Gorilla Monsoon in the pecking order of broadcasters of the genre? Cole can say he's better than me all he wants, and he well may be, but when he whines that he's better than Solie and Monsoon it becomes laughable
JR vs COLE!
YES! YES! YES!

Cole says those things to get under peoples skin (to get heat!) and it obviously is working!

I  really hope JR comes back for Mania to announce at least for the Cole / King fight "STONE COLD!! STONE COLD!!!"

Quote From Good Ole JR

Thanks for all the great emails that we have received along with a ton of Tweets regarding my appearance at Wrestlemania and on Monday Night Raw. It was great being back in the saddle and sitting at the announce table where I feel very comfortable. It was like returning home, on a professional level, to me. I'm not sure when I will be back for another announcing appearance but will embrace any opportunity to do what I love.

I was glad to see JR back for more of a nostalgic reason than anything. It was also a good way to get him in to further the storyline between Cole and Lawler, and put way more heat on Cole (like he needs a lot of help anyway, but most of the WWE Universe still love JR and well this can only make Cole way more hated) Even though JR still loves announcing he seemed pretty toned down on Monday Night and not all crazy and loud like he used to be. I am of the opinion now that he should only be used for sporadic appearences and to help out a little, like he has been, with the Cole situation.

Quote From Jim Ross Website

Stonecoldpebble Asks: hey JR, im new to this site, I was told about it from a friend. I hope your doing well I hear you have had some surgery? Hope everything is well and your business is growing nicely. I have a quick question regarding the announce tables during matches, I see the table get destroyed and you guys are just left with seats and possibly broken monitors. Are you ever aware of this happening ahead of time or has it ever been spur of the moment? Seems pretty inconvenient. And also, what are your thoughts on the apparent 8 injuries at over the edge 2010? Including DiBiase and Orton? Thanks!

J.R.'s Answer: One just assume that on any given show the announce tables can be utilized. I always prepared for it and if it didn't happen, no worries. I'm not up to speed on injuries of a year ago to be honest with you. Nonetheless, injuries are a part of the business that can't be totally avoided. Thanks for checking out our site. If you're new, take a look at all the archived emails and blogs.

I always wondered if they felt uncomfortable when their table breaks. I know they usually get another one before their shown again, but sometimes not. And they look stupid sitting there with all their stuff on their laps.

Perfect example ... an opening segment features some fighting and the announce table gets broke ..

I think 2 myself, man they gotta be saying "yeah, thanks a lot dick. I gotta work with no table the rest of the night." ...

Glad JR atleast prepared for it, tho I'm sure he knows when shit is going 2 happen around him ...

** Your Welcome **

Quote Plans for Monday's RAW have Jim Ross, Michael Cole and Jerry Lawler calling the whole show. Ross is back full-time and will be calling pay-per-views and upcoming international tours where WWE will be taping shows. Unless things change, RAW will continue with a three-man commentary team.

Partial source: F4Wonline.com

The good is that JR is back.

The bad is Cole and King are still there.

Monday night showed that these three have a lot of work to do to get chemistry and timing right because the announce team was dreadful last night

Well to be fair on Jr he's been out for quite some time the other two have no excuse seriously first lawler needs to retire he's lost it and he's feud with Cole took away screen time from the actual wrestlers, see if any of the wrestlers are gonna be pissed about losing their spot at wrestlemania they should pissed at Cole and lawler.

Cole is the ultimate heel get him off the booth and give him to someone as a manager I don't know who and I.don't care anyone will do and they will fast become a good heel.

No, the bad thing is that shitty JR is back hindering Cole's awesomeness. Guy hasn't been decent since like 2001 w/ Heyman.

Sad that Josh Matthews got binned again.
