Howdo, Peeps.

What are some of the better TV shows you have seen on either Netflix or Amazon Prime Video? And what are you watching just now?

Leave any recommendations, and what network they're on, below.

I'm watching Outlander on Amazon at the moment. It's about a woman in mid-late 1940s who accidentally goes back to time in the highlands to 1746 during the Jacobite era. Before watching it, I thought it would he a fairly easy watch; no real stakes etc and wouldn't grip me. Deary me was I wrong. Some really heavy duty concepts in it that I think have left me with borderline PTSD!!!

The Defenders Marvel Universe series', Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist, Defenders & Punisher. Love this storyline. Some are better than other but I have liked them all. Punisher and Daredevil we're the best IMO.

LOST is still on Netflix, and if you've never seen it, it is can't miss. By far my favorite 1 hour drama show of all time.

I've also really enjoyed Person of Interest which is also on Netflix. It also stars Michael Emerson (LOST).

Now that I think about it though I'm in the US where as you guys in the UK so I'm fairly certain you get a very different lineup. Not sure if any of my recommendations will be available for you.

Vikings on Amazon Prime is a good choice though. In a lot of ways I have liked it as much as Game of Thrones.

As a wrestling fan I would be remiss if I did not mention both GLOW and Lucha Underground.

I'll second Rico on The Punisher, best show I watched in a while especially good considering how burnt out the superhero genre is.

I enjoyed Vikings on Prime, need to renew my subscription to catch the final season. As somebody said it's similar to Game of Thrones in theme just with a much more realistic and loosely fact based rather than a fantasy tone.

I also really liked the single season of the US version of Mad Dogs on Prime.

Power, Breaking Bad and Sons of Anarchy are the best long running shows I've watched on Netflix. Recently finished the new season of Top Boy which was really decent if you like dark and gritty stuff. I've also been able to catch up with top BBC shows like The Office, Peaky Blinders, White Gold and Line of Duty through Netflix.

Shows like Ricky Gervais' After Life and Idris Elba in Turn Up Charlie are good shows if you want something easy to watch that you can binge through in a day.

Watched You and The Stranger recently both well worth a look. Sex Education was pretty watchable.
