It seems that AEW are trying to be sensitive to the health of their talent so it wouldn't surprise me if they have a off season. That would link in with calling it a league and trying to emphasise it as legitimate sport.

I think October is the expected date for the TV show launch, until then it seems we will see monthly PPV events and online content. That's similar to how TNA began but AEW looks a lot more polished.

As for the hirings of guys like Hebner and JR its sound business to go after names people will recognise and any promotion will always hire certain people based on friendships and relationships, WCW did so have WWE and I'm sure AEW will be no different.

I've seen alot of articles on line about AEW looking to hold PPV's in the UK.

Thats a huge WIN for me - when you look on alot of wrestling forums, twitter etc UK fans seem to be the ones begging for live events over here and as of yet WWE hasnt really listened or acted on this so AEW could be stealing a win on this one.

I've heard the same rumors, and even speculation that one or two of their annual events would ALWAYS be held in the UK. I think it'd be a smart move, we here in North America can certainly afford to give up a few annual spots to overseas locations, and I think this would help them globally.

Would be smart. AEW have to look to capitalise on the areas of the business that WWE are not and giving the UK some major PPV shows is something WWE haven't done since 1992.

TNA were set to do a similar thing I think but then they became gripped by financial problems and couldn't afford costly overseas tours and events.

AEW need to give the fans what WWE are not and that's mainly a edgier product and International exposure other than Saudi Arabia.
