Quote Alexa Bliss is closing in on the record for most days as the Raw Women’s Champion. The currently record is held by Charlotte Flair, who held the belt for 113 days. Bliss is currently in her second reign, which has lasted 110 days. Her first reign was 112 days. So if she loses the belt on Raw, she’ll miss out on breaking the record by a day for the second time.

If Bliss hangs onto the title for the next three and a half weeks, she’ll have the longest combined reigns of any woman since the title was created last year at Wrestlemania 32.

Not heard it on commentary yet and I don't expect it to be, at least until it's on the very verge of being broken.

The title hasn't been around that long yet, so it's not that big of a deal.

If she's put in a title match on Raw people......

Still a great achievement and well merited given the year she’s had

She’s fantastic in the ring, great to look at (that ass though) and seems to be hard working and keeps herself out of trouble - she’s a great example of what the women’s division is all about

I hope she smashes the record

I wouldn’t be adverse to a Paige vs Bliss vs Asuka triple-threat for the title at Wrestlemania. I can see them building to Paige vs Asuka but Bliss deserves a key spot on the card.

Oh I cannot even describe how much I hated this match. I remember a while ago I had a three page debate with CBW about this match. I think it was in one of the WrestleMania threads (but not the WrestleMania thread where it actually happened.) I just hated the ending; and he was defending it.

In any case, to stay on topic in this thread, Alexa Bliss I've come to see as one of the best women wrestlers to watch in the federation. She's both skilled and agile, and can look dangerous in the ring despite her petite physical size. A couple months ago I hated her on the mic as she couldn't talk; but she's gotten better in that regard. Her appearances on Total Divas make her an even more interesting personality.

(Yes, I have watch a few episodes of Total Divas.)

I wasn’t a fan of the ending of the Big Show/Money Mayweather match but I just thought considering Mayweather had no wrestling experience and it was a total miss-match in size terms the actual match was great entertainment. The build up was very good too, one thing you can rarely fault WWE on is their production when it comes to building major matches.

I watch Total Divas too, I’m not a huge fan of it finding it just about watchable at best but the missus likes it and it’s nice she can share a small part of my interest in wrestling as otherwise she has no interest at all.

So that was an interesting happening on Raw with Alexa Bliss helping and saving Mickie James from the attack by Absolution. Mickie acted like she was confused that Bliss helped her. I wonder if this is gonna lead to some kind of temporary partnership or at least a minor alliance.

I wouldn't mind it. Mickie has mostly been a loner in her WWE career (at least since her infatuation with Trish Stratus ended) but this could be a good way to see her in a team of some kind if this leads to anything. But Bliss has an ulterior motive I would say, just looking to form a temporary alliance to fend off potential challengers to her title.

Or... absolutely nothing could come of this and this will be forgotten about.

I can see Alexa looking for an ally in the chamber that she can then turn on.

That too. Of course the backstabbing after the alliance goes without saying.

Quote Kurt Angle is shown backstage having a private conversation with Alexa Bliss. He's on his way to the ring.

- RAW GM Kurt Angle is out to the ring next, and he starts announcing the contenders in the upcoming Women's Elimination Chamber. He announces Alexa Bliss, Mickie James, Mandy Rose, Sonya Deville, Bayley and Sasha Banks. Angle also announces Asuka vs. Nia Jax in a singles match for the Chamber PPV, and if Jax wins she'll be added to the RAW Women's Title match with Asuka to make it a triple threat. Bliss comes out to the ring to interrupt. Bliss complains that she has to defend the Women's Title in the Elimination Chamber, while the men's Chamber match doesn't have a Title on the line. Bliss says it's sexist that she doesn't get treated like Brock Lesnar, and accuses Kurt Angle of being a sexist. Kurt says it sounds like she's trying to weasel out of the match, so he's going to ask the crowd. He asks the fans if they want to see Bliss in the Chamber, and the crowd pops and chants "yes." Bliss gets mad and leaves. As she's leaving, Kurt asks the fans again, and they chant yes again. Bliss does not look happy.

It was a great segment for Alexa in making the general manager look stupid for his decision.

Heels aren't suppose to talk sense, but she's got a point in why she's defending her title in the chamber but not Brock.

Calling Kurt sexist got a good crowd pop. It's not a word you hear often over the years, if at all.

Her promo was entirely justified if I'm being honest. The fact that the 'last chance' Elimination chamber fatal 4 way will still leave a gap makes me worry that the plan might be to either put Lesnar in the men's (in which case Lesnar wins and we still don't have a number one contender, unlikely) or that the plan might be to tag Bliss out of the chamber for someone else, for example Nikki Bella. But then what's the point?

So all in all I don't much get the point but Angle did look stupid.

I'm watching the Bliss collection on the Network at the moment and it's become very clear to me why Alexa Bliss hasn't defended her title since October. She's beaten Bayley, Banks, James, Banks and Bayley with Emma and Jax in one match, lost against an Asuka who's leaving for Smackdown and they're saving Jax for Wrestlemania. Who's left to defend the title against exactly?

It seems clear that Alexa will lose the title at Wrestlemania and then feud with callups/trades. I would imagine she was supposed to be taking on Paige but here we are.

2018 really doesn't sound like it's going to be her year. That's okay though; it's someone else's turn. Alexa vs Kairi will still be a lot of fun.

Angle looked stupid at first, but as soon as Angle rebutted her argument he seemed just fine and Bliss looked like the weaselly little heel she is.

She hasn't competed in a title match on a PPV since October. Meaning Brock is up on her since survivor series.
