I think itb Bliss should drop the title (if she’s going to) before mania so that she can win it back - in my opinion there’s no way Paige should win or retain the title there.

At the minute I see no reason why we can’t get Paige v Asuka (even If this includes Bliss in a triple threat title match) at the rumble ending in DQ / Paige pinning blliss due to a Rousey interference after an attack on Asuka - setting up that storyline and then giving Paige v Bliss going into mania.

I’d much prefer to see Asuka beat Ronda and Bliss retain or regain her title at mania after the year she’s had it would seem unfair for Paige to get that big moment off a couple of months work

I think it will be Paige vs Asuka at Wrestlemania which is a shame for Alexa Bliss as she put the work in all year round but that’s how it goes, Mania is all about the big matches.

I can see Paige vs Asuka and Charlotte vs Ronda Rousey. The only problem with that is it leaves a lot of Women off the card so there will likely also be some sort of multi-person match on the pre-show.

As far as I've heard, they're still trying to get the Horsewomen vs Horsewomen match going. Charlotte IMO is still the bigger draw woman between her and Bliss, and if Paige & Asuka was going to be a thing at WrestleMania then, that means Paige & Asuka are a bigger draw than Bliss in the eyes of WWE, too. Charlotte will NOT be left off the mania main card. It just won't happen.

Even if the Horsewomen vs Horsewomen thing falls through, and so far it seems like everything is going fine for that match to happen, Charlotte will still be on the card. I wouldn't be surprised in the least to see Shayna Baszler make an appearance at wrestlemania. She's getting advertised for an NXT debut as of this last week's episode of NXT, but for name recognition alone I would expect to see her that weekend, if not at WrestleMania then at NXT Takeover in some kind of low-card exhibition. Rousey will be there at wrestlemania. No question of that. It's just a matter of whether or not she'll be wrestling.

Bliss? She just doesn't have a spot, unless they figure shit out ASAP. It shouldn't be hard to figure out at least.

Horsewomen vs Horsewomen makes a lot of sense for Wrestlemania, it instantly gets four of the top ladies on the Women’s roster on the Mania card in a key match for a start. Plus for Rouseys first outing in a WWE ring on a major show it may be wise to offer her the protection of being in a tag-match.

I don’t know much at all about the other Women on Team Ronda though, I know one of them took part in the Mae Young Classic so she’s got some wrestling experience, we know Rousey is currently honing her wrestling skills at the performance centre, but what about the other two? Do they have any kind of wrestling background or experience?

The MMA Horsewomen all wrestle each other a lot just for shits and giggles, they know the holds, and about flatback bumping, etc., but I think aside from simple things like running the ropes so as not to bruise yourself I don't think the other two have had any extensive professional training. IE. I would say they're a lot better off than some actor coming into wrestlemania for a match against Roddy Piper, or Big Show, or the like, but they're still pretty green.

My guess is the match will be pretty heavily scripted when the other two are in, so all they have to do is learn their spots to look good, and Baszler and Rousey will carry the match for their team (I mean that in a different sense than if I were to say AJ Styles would carry the match if he were the opponent of Hulk Hogan), and let the NXT Horsewomen lead the way and call the shots.

WWE have proved when it comes to matches featuring non-wrestlers they are pretty good at scripting it all out and rehearsing it to go without a hitch. Big Show vs Mayweather for example was a very entertaining match considering it involved a guy with no wrestling background at all.

As said the two Women with limited wrestling experience can just learn some spots and keep their contributions brief and simple while the other six ladies carry the action.

To be honest with regards to how Ronda will be booked in her first match, i expect nothing else other than a few punches and an armbar and thats that

I wouldnt expect her to take any offense or at least if she does she will completely no sell it to give her that dominant aura

The good thing is with the tag-match environment they can book Ronda that way and still protect the full-time roster Women to a point, like pick the most expendable girl(my choice would be Bayley) to be the fodder for Rousey.

Oh I cannot even describe how much I hated this match. I remember a while ago I had a three page debate with CBW about this match. I think it was in one of the WrestleMania threads (but not the WrestleMania thread where it actually happened.) I just hated the ending; and he was defending it.

In any case, to stay on topic in this thread, Alexa Bliss I've come to see as one of the best women wrestlers to watch in the federation. She's both skilled and agile, and can look dangerous in the ring despite her petite physical size. A couple months ago I hated her on the mic as she couldn't talk; but she's gotten better in that regard. Her appearances on Total Divas make her an even more interesting personality.

(Yes, I have watch a few episodes of Total Divas.)

The amount that Bliss has grown as a character is incredible. When she was just that little ballerina pixxie chick when she first debuted in NXT I didn't think she had a shot in hell. Then she turned heel, got those Freddy Kruger gloves and she was a whole lot more interesting, and as it turned out she was quite good on the mic.

Then when they brought her up to the main roster I thought she would have Uhaa Nation beat for the biggest mistake of getting called up too soon. But she has thrived more than anyone since Roman Reigns got called up. Her wrestling has gotten to be very good, her character has solidified quite well, and she just gets better on the mic all the time.

That's why it frustrates me that she is being left in the lurch ATM. She is being he women's champion and the story is all about Paige and Asuka. I hope this next week we see Bliss become more of the focal point she should be.

If Paige sets her flunkees on Asuka, and then goes after Bliss herself then that would solve both issues... Even if then Boss and Bayley are left out... But if they have little to do until Rousey and Baszler show up, maybe it isn't the worst thing in the world. Assuming they actually DO show up.
