I enjoyed the story they told with Black this week, my only slight moan is that he should have taken more of a beating to sell it the way he did.

But it was well booked showing Black not at 100% have to dig deep to scrape a win over Erik Rowan, it was a well fought match and there were times I thought Black was going to lose clean to Rowan. This sets a dream match for next week between Black and AJ Styles.

I did wonder if there may be a angle at Super Showdown with Black and Styles but if I remember right Black isn't allowed to appear at Saudi shows due to issues with some of his tattoos.

I also liked the way Black just cut the crap with his promo at the end saying how fans may find his talk too cryptic, I think this is a smart route as while I do like his mysterious character and dark promos I do find sometimes he just rambles off stuff that is hard to make any kind of sense out of, I would like him to get a bit more aggressive and straight talking with his promos like he did this week.

Good match. Black impressive as ever and Theory proving he's a good prospect for the future.

It's clear that they are high on Aleister Black and these clear decisive wins he's getting each week are doing a good job of establishing him with a slow burn approach. I like his dark short and sweet promos too, I don't think he should ever say too much his character is better suited to be mysterious and to only speak when really necessary.

I can see Black being a top guy within the next year or so, he just needs to keep destroying jobbers then get a few good wins over some bigger names.

I still stand by this but agree with Fletch that they need to move him on to bigger more established names for a decent run of singles feuds

He seems to becoming more and more popular online and I think some of that is due to his marriage to Zelina Vega as she is extremely active and very popular on social media

That can only be a good thing for him

I wanted him to win MITB but I'm kind of glad he didn't.....

For me, he doesn't need it now given the way he has been built lately. Go back to when he was first called up and given how poorly he was used then, he would have benefitted more from winning the case then than what he would now.

If he keeps going the way he is then he can be the natural challenger to the other champion that Otis doesn't challenge.

If you're prediction about a WrestleMania main event for him next year is right than a Rumble win next year is the best way to go.

I would give McIntyre a long title reign and continue to build Aleister Black as a top guy then have him win the Royal Rumble and challenge Drew at Wrestlemania next year, with good booking and a strong storyline this could almost be a modern day version of Hogan vs The Ultimate Warrior.

I'm liking the slow burn approach with Black, it's said that Heyman is a big fan of his and WWE seem to view him as a potential headliner with drawing power, that's why I like the show methodical approach to building his character making him heel more of a attraction.

I'm wondering if Black is the person behind Retribution?

They are trying to swerve us with people like The Miz but Blacks pre screen break promos were edgy and alot of his social media stuff is too

Just a thought

Maybe they are revealed tonight

It's all to do with WWE getting a new company to produce their music, apparently they weren't happy with the contract they had with the old music supplier and any themes created by them that WWE continue to use sees generous royalties being paid to the old company so that's why they have replaced both Keith Lee and Aleister Black's theme music, chances are it will happen with other talent too.

Black can only dream of rocking an eye patch as good as this legend he's got his dress sense off LOL

I still don't get him. I don't hate him but don't see the hype. He just seems a run of the mill talent with midcard written all over him.

It seems dark/mysterious gimmicks continue to be popular but he's no Undertaker, Mankind, Bray Wyatt, although he's better than Papa Shango.
