Last night for a change I tried Chicago Rock which i've not been in for ages probably a good few years. For none UK TUPeeps it's basically a club which is where mainly older clubbers 40 plus years old go. Where cheesy music from mainly the 60s and 70s and 80s such as Grease gets played. Where the DJ usually gives a shoutout to the lady enjoying that her divorce as just come through etc LOL 29 on thursday and felt like a baby in there surrounded by so many Cougars. Double vodka and energy drink (Monster they didn't have Red Bull) for four quid a time. Have to say I enjoyed it more than I thought and I know JTB is a fan Smile

Getting to answer that on the You Gov website I clicked on three quid as that's more than enough.

That said even in the local now it's around 3.50 for a pint and they charge pretty much the same for a glass of coke so they are doing nothing to discourage people from drinking alcohol.

Think the most I have ever paid for a pint was 4.70 the night before Joe got married, but it was down south so that's to be expected LOL

In my area it's usually £2.50 for a soft drink and £3 starting price for a pint...which you get more out of haha.

Is it just me going to use this thread haha. I'm a bit like Fletch and enjoy a beer on the weekends....though I do try and try different ones each time...so i'm heading into the online order zone now as i've tried all the stuff on the shelves locally.

Also tried Jack Daniels for the first time haha.....prefer the honey version over the normal version though.

Not tried the fire. I'd probably get used to the original as I do enjoy a whiskey...but it was something about the aftertaste that didn't quite sit with me. There's none of that with the honey one though.

What is the fire one about? A kick of chilli or some crap?

I've also been told Jim Beam do an apple flavour or something so may go searching that one out.

Cinnamon - it tastes more like cinnamon than what cinnamon does - far too strong a taste its overwhelming

Im not a fan of jim beam - it seems to have a more watery taste

I don't mind cinnamon as a flavour, but certain things do spoil the taste.

If Jim Beam is watery fuck that for a laugh, won't be going there.

#H have you noticed JD is on offer at the moment it most place, £15 or so for 70cls?
