I would like to see him main event wrestlemania and be given sufficient match time - which seems like it would only increase if he went to Raw (as the A show gets the A position on the card)

I wouldn't say he was the most gifted guy EVER. That's a super strong statement. I would easily say top 5, especially if he has a couple more years of awesome matches to provide.

I would much prefer him on Raw to be honest. As much as he helps Smackdown, Smackdown doesn't help him, if that makes sense? And if he ends up on Raw, we could get what is quickly becoming a dream match in AJ vs Seth. Can you even begin to imagine the beastly rassling these guys would dish out??!!!

It’s a tough call because Smackdown is AJ’s show, the house that AJ Styles built but eventually he will probably head over to Raw maybe at the next roster shuffle.

I just fear that on Raw the heavier star power will see AJ get a bit lost in the shuffle in the much the same way Finn Balor has.

Fletch I get your concerns. AJ going to Raw would hurt SD, but maybe if they did a superstar shakeup that actually benefitted SD (unlike last year's), then maybe that could be better for everyone involved.

The shakeup last year gave Smackdown Charlotte and New Day; two hugely marketable brands that helped transform their women's and tag divisions into the better of the two. New Day/Usos was huge for Smackdown and New Day will continue to be in the future. Charlotte's move was the same given that she is the single most recognisable female wrestler in the world today.

That said, AJ going to Raw, for anybody, would be a bad move in my eyes. It's the same with Becky Lynch. Some people are rightfully entrenched in the product. I think the same of Roman Reigns and Braun Strowman on Raw.

On the other hand, some people feel like they're in the wrong place. Randy Orton and Seth Rollins, for me, feel like they're on the wrong side.

I'd rather not see Reigns, Rollins & Ambrose get split up. Even if they're not actively competing as members of The Shield, keeping them together in a loose faction similar to that of the 4 Horsemen back in the day where they would still work in the individual brackets (mid-card, main event, tag division, etc) but when the storylines called for it they were all there in force. Shield needs to be the same way IMO.

With Balor, Gallows and Anderson possibly getting put together I could see all 3 getting moved to Smackdown, and then building towards next Survivor Series for Balor Club vs Shield, but moving Rollins on his own IMO would be a mistake, even if he might do better individually on that brand.

But maybe that's just me.

On paper the Superstar shakeup last year should have got off to a flying start, but it took a long time for it all to click into place. Charlotte was involved in those endless multi-women matches, and New Day didn't come over till injuries were cleared up. Saying that, SD is getting better the past few weeks. Funny that that's happened since Hinder isn't the champ anymore.

I am another who does not believe that AJ Styles should be moved from Smackdown Live he's solidified the whole show around him in a way that hasn't been done well ever.

I would however send Randy Orton and Jinder Mahal over to Raw in exchange for Finn Balor and the Miz as main eventers and maybe grab Bray Wyatt back there as well so they can solidify some proper heels on the brand along with a number 2 face that isn't boring as all hell.

Agreed. I think that’s the reason they moved Ambrose to Raw, to allow for those occasional Shield reunions. I don’t see them being split again for a while and I think when it does happen it will be due to one of them(probably Ambrose) turning heel.

My thoughts are Revival, Cesaro, Neville(if he’s still around), Gallows/Anderson and Finn Balor to Smackdown, then Orton, Mike/Maria Kanellis, Bobby Roode, Usos and Breezango to Raw.

I’ve mentioned this before but for the Women I would send Charlotte, Tamina and Becky to Raw and Bayley, Alicia Fox and Nia Jax to Smackdown. Reasons are I don’t think WWE have enough quality female talent to run two separate divisions successfully, I would rather they put all their eggs in one basket and focus mainly on the Raw women and use Smackdown as the place for the ladies to develop and get over.

Love the idea of Revival on SD, but only if Usos stay as they would have a really good series I think. SD's tag division is improving and streamlining and with Usos at the top it's a nice balance.

I would much rather The Usos remain on Smackdown and New Day head back to Raw but my gut feeling is that it will be the brothers that change brands. One of those two teams has to change sides.
