So AEW's next PPV comes to Baltimore in November, on the 9th to be exact.

There are currently no details announced for the card but announcing this now is a smart move by AEW as it gives additional purpose to the early weekly shows on TNT.

You'd expect to see both of the main titles defended and i would expect the Tag Tournament is concluded during this event too.

Moxley v Omega is the first match announced for this card so I'm already super excited for it

No surprise there really, Moxley vs Omega is a money match and as it was set for All Out its only right it happens here instead, its good they will now have a few weeks of tv to build to the match.

Have to say I'm not liking the PPV names for AEW so far, wasn't keen on All Out but I knew it was a follow on from All In so made sense, but this name is terrible and for those in the know Full Gear could be a reference made to steroid use which is not something you want associated with wrestling.

Jericho will defend his title against Cody at Full Gear.

So far, 2 matches announced and they are both awesome.

I hope they hold off on further announcements until the TV show debuts to add a bit more substance to it and give another reason to watch

So far so good.

If I was to offer AEW any advice at this point I would say try and keep the show to around 3 hours in length and leave off the filler stuff try and keep to marquee matches.

So now that I've had a few hours sleep - time for my run down on Full Gear:

Bea v Baker in the pre show was a solid effort. I'm not sure Baker is the star AEW womens division needs and Priestly looked the much better in this one. Britt had the flu so I'll give her benefit of the doubt. This was probably a B- match with some weird shit with Kong and Brandi that takes it to a B.

Bucks v PnP was the first on the main card. This was a great opener and Santana and Ortiz looked awesome picking up the win. The Bucks personalities still grind on me so I cant care that much about them but they are great wrestlers. The aftermath of this was a holy shit moment. B+/A- for this one.

PAC v Page was a brutal hard hitting match up. Both men looked great with some hard spots on the outside. Paige escaped the submission and hit the dead eye for the win. B grade for this.

Spears v Janela had some insane spots which we come to expect from matches the bad boy is in. Tully got involved and there was an exposed turbuckle. C+ match here.

SCU v Private Party v Luchas. I dont like the three way tag formats unless its tornado rules where everyone is in there but this was a decent effort.  It wasnt as smooth as.what lucha matches normally are but Fenix still got to pull off some insane rope spots. Not the best match AEWs tag division have put on by any means. C+

Riho v Sakura was on next. This was a very good match with excellent teacher v student storytelling. This was hurt though by how dead the crowd was. B+ effort from the women.

Cody v Jericho was next up with the title on the line. This match was fantastic as youd expect and then we got an MJF full heel turn at the end which made it even better.  Solid A grade this one - really great title match.

Omega v Mox was last on and wow what a match. This really lived up to the unsanctioned ruling and will probably have been a little OTT for today's snowflake generation. Omega was excellent in this and proved hes not just a technical wrestler but a warrior too. Solid A grade here too.

All round a solid card which would probably get an overall B grade from me.

The crowd werent good at all until the last 2 matches despite the excellent efforts of everyone prior.

My review would be much the same as Heel's.
I enjoyed the tag team opener but I'm also not a fan of the Bucks, their personalities just irritate the shit out of me, I really think they would work better as heels as they are just naturally unlikeable. I think this is why I took a while to warm to Kenny Omega as he was kind of guilty by association with the Bucks in my eyes, plus I hate all that geeky video game stuff.

I wasnt as big a fan of Cody vs Jericho, solid enough effort but a bit of a plodded pace at times, I like Cody as a character but as a worker hes a bit hit and miss, his ring style is pretty basic and he cant hold a candle to the likes of Omega and Pac.
I did enjoy the MJF turn though, this needed to happen, having MJF work as a heel character but then also appear on screen as Cody's best buddy was just confusing as hell.

Moxley vs Omega was far and away match of the night, crazy stunt filled brawl that was everything a unsanctioned match should be, I'm really enjoying Moxley's unhinged character.

I haven't yet seen this PPV, and probably won't any of AEWs PPVs, but I was reading a live results thread, and the guy reviewing it was saying the unsanctioned match took things too far, and was "too much for 2019" and was uncomfortable to watch. The way he talked it sounded like it was just a series of unprotected chair shots to the back of the head and nothing more.

I'm glad to hear it was a good match. Hopefully Moxley gets some more traditional matches down the road because he's more than just the hardcore spot-monkey. It's good to see him return to his roots after doing very little in WWE and now he's finally able to show people what he has always been about, but I don't want to see him become 1-dimensional in the opposite direction as well.

People saying it took things too far or was uncomfortable to watch are being ridiculous. I dont remember chairs being used at all, there was a whole host of props involved throughout the match but I dont think chairs were among them.

There were a couple of spots that may have made people cringe a bit, Omega got slammed into a table covered in mouse traps, broken glass was used as a weapon several times as was what appeared to be a screwdriver but was described as a ice pick by the announcers, then of course there was the spot where both men suplexed into a huge spider web of barbed wire.
The thing is many of these props were gimmicked, I'm pretty sure the barbed wire web wasnt real barbed wire for example. Omega and Moxley I'm sure went home feeling pretty sore with plenty of cuts and bruises but neither man really put his health at risk and that is the only thing that should make people feel uneasy.

I like this side of Moxley, in a straight up wrestling match I've never been his biggest fan, the hardcore environment is definitely his forte. I would have loved to have seen him work with Mick Foley, RVD and/or Sabu in their primes.

Yeah I remember he wanted to work a match like this with Foley, and so did Foley, but he couldn't pass the physical. They were even building towards with Foley promising that he would pass the physical, but clearly he never did.

Then Ambrose wanted to work this kind of match with Lesnar, but Lesnar didn't want to do half the shit Ambrose suggested and Ambrose was PISSED about how poorly their wrestlemania match went.

This side of Moxley needs to be a PART of him, and it never was in WWE, but I don't think it should be the ONLY side of him.
