Raven shut up about the hot weather. I was at The Gap yesterday sweating my balls off in a suit getting photos done with the rest of the Bridal Party.

I don't own shorts. My fashion choices are killing me. Surely The Gap has air conditioning? My fucking house doesn't. Or, we do, we just never use it because we're stupid. You need to go to Christchurch in June, then tell me off for bitching about weather Tongue

You went into the bush for three hours and nobody died? I'm impressed.

Had my first job interview today. Best fucking job ever by the sounds of it. Was asked to come "in business attire", I don't own a tie or dress shoes, and I only have one collared shirt that doesn't show off my tattoos, so I was a bit fucked. Ended up going minus tie and with black sneakers on. Was asked to up my standards for my second interview on Wednesday LOL Went out and got a whole bunch of flash clothes though, so I'm set.

But yeah, fucking ridiculousawesome job. It's a sales job for a company that does all the marketing and sales for various sports clubs and non-profits. They represent a football team in the A-League, two NRL teams for the league, the Aussie Paralympic team, and either the Queensland or Australian Cricket Board, I forget which. But a part of my job would be going to sports events and meet-and-greets and helping drum up support and/or money for whoever I'm there for. The last time they did this was at the weekend where "drumming up support" very quickly turned into "watching cricket at the Gabba." Looks tops, want it so bad.

So, back to NZ on the 27th, Aussie didn't work out. While that job was ridiculousawesome, it didn't pay much, and due to my qualifications in NZ meaning jack shit here, it was tough to get another job. Found I couldn't live with my sister either, we clash far too much.

Not a huge fan of this place though, so I'm not all that bothered. And at least in NZ I can sit on the unemployment benefit until I get a job LOL

Sorry it didn't work out Raven, but good on you for having a go. Yeah, family can be a hard one - I like seeing mine for a day or two at X-mas etc, but I'd slash my wrists before I'd live with them again lol. Queensland? The only Australians who like the place are those born there. I think Sydney or Melbourne would suit your speed better.

So, moving back to Aussie. June 15th, flights are booked. Some family friends are moving over, they threw the offer out to my mum, she decided to go as well. Plus, at the end of next year, my best friend will have his Master's so he'll probably shift over as well. Is good, should end up going over with about $5000, possibly more, so it'll be heaps easier to get on my feet, get my forklift ticket to make job hunting easier etc.

Makes me feel bad though, I'll only be 21 when I go back and I'd already have shifted there two separate times.
