If they team up he should be Abyss and argue with Eric Young about who the real tag team champion is.
"I'm the tag team champion!"
Maybe they can even go to anger management and learn to hug it out.
Brilliant booking!

Quote Abyss commented on his return to TNA, writing on Twitter, "There will be NO mercy for the ones who have wronged me or my brother. Thank you @IMPACTWRESTLING fans for welcoming me back. #impactlive"
Sounds like they are going to keep Joseph as a seperate character. Which is a good thing because I never liked Abyss on the mic. Plus I think there's still a lot of potential with the Joseph character.

I guess that hoping for a return by James Mitchell is just too much to ask for.

Also, I really think that they need to change up Abyss' mask. I would like to see that Mankind influence lessened. Plus there has to be a way to make it easier to market replicas.

i'm very meh about his return.

it just doesn't feel big enough. a brand new, big(ish) name for TNA would have been better, but there's not really anyone out there who fits that role right now anyway, so it's a moot point.

they could at least have hunted down Jesse, coaxed him away from law enforcement, and had him go after D.O.C., it would at least be entertaining in a car crash kind of way.

The response of the audience gives you a good indication of just how shit Abyss looked on his return. His chokeslam looked decent but his BHS isn't anything like it was, and he looks so completely out of shape that he doesn't come off as a credible monster. He was always big, but there's a clear protruding stomach nowadays. I'm interested however to see what a face Abyss can bring, but I've always preferred the silent, heel monster to his more recent form.

The camera angles were  pretty annoying when Abyss's music hit the camera was kept on Bully and Devon while Abyss runs down the ramp with his hands up like he's going to hug someone and nearly tripped as he double clothsline Team 3D.

He looked pretty out of shape but then again it's been a full year since he's been in that character but other then that i enjoyed it. But i wouldn't be surprized if we saw Bully Vs Abyssamania.

Nah, that's pretty much that same shape he's been for a while. LOLLOLLOL

I dont think his in-ring return was that bad, I think the moment was ruined because no one knew whose theme was playing when Abyss's music played (to be honest, I didnt either) and thus the bigtime pop he wouldve gotten upon his return was lost.

Thats a big problem in TNA as to many entrance themes sound alike. It takes the crowd response away if they have to first see which wrestler appears onstage before reacting.

it completely underwhelmed me.

yes, the "new" theme music didn't help; can't see any reason for it happening, particularly if it's going to be debuted at such an important point.

still, at least Christy Hemme didn't have to introduce it...

So, so true. When music hits the crowd always has to turn to look because 95% of the themes sound so generic.

Kurt Angle's is the only one that stands out to me. But that's mostly due to the sample of Lunatic Fringe. Come to think of it, I only know James Storm's and Mickie James' because of the opening line.

The bell sound at the begining of Abyss' theme is clearly meant to mimic the Undertaker's gong. But it sounds like a cowbell and lacks the same boom quality. In the arena it sounds more like a door bell.
